NARS Purifying Foam Cleanser

What it is: A velvety foaming cleanser, with gentle mechanical exfoliants that gently removes makeup, impurities, and surface oil without leaving behind any residue. What it does: Infused with NARS exclusive Light Reflecting Complex™, this refreshing, foaming cleanser lifts away impurities and makeup without irritation. It cleanses the pores and smoothes the surface for skin that feels ultrasoft and refreshed. Gentle enough for daily use, Purifying Foam Cleanser smoothes with botanical exfoliating spheres that dissolve in water. Wild rose extract gently calms and soothes while peony extract helps control oil and reduce shine. This purifying formula leaves skin comfortably clean, residue-free, looking brighter and more radiant. Skin is left soft and supple, never dry or tight. When skin is clean and smooth, foundation glides on smoothly, color looks brilliant and lasts. Ideal for normal to oily/combination skin and seasonally oily skin, this product is dermatologist-tested non-comedogenic and free of synthetic fragrance, parabens, alcohol, and oil. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens What else you need to know: Wild rose extract prevents irritation while cleansing and exfoliating. I clean my eye area with it and I have really touchy and extra sensitive skin around my eyes. It takes off all my eye makeup and the skin around my eyes seems to be totally okay with it. I highly doubt it's tear free through; luckily, I haven't had the misfortune of actually getting into my eye.

Hi winky9999, We do not recommend using this cleanser on the delicate eye area. We suggest using a eye makeup remover that is specifically formulated for your eye area.

I rarely have any left overs on my face, even when I really pack on the products.

I find that it does remove makeup on my skin, but I do need to use something else to remove eye makeup, as this foam stings if it gets near my eye area.

It removes mine. The only thing I still need makeup remover for is waterproof mascara. But, the rest comes off just fine as long as you actually wash your face for the full minute recommended.

Question
Replacement for Nars balancing foaming cleaser ?
I am sooo sad... This product was my HG cleaser and I bought a few containers when I heard it would be discontinued last August, but I'm all out now... Is this the "official" replacement for it or is it the creamy cleanser ??

I never tried the other product, but this is very foamy. I have combination skin and it has done wonders for it, so it might be worth a try, but I have no idea if it's the same product just re-marketed.... (I'm sorry for your loss! There's little worse than when your HG products are discontinued).
