Questions & Answers for Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Hair Mist

Question
Can you also kind of use it as a perfume?
So I wanted the perfume but my boyfriend ended up buying the hair mist as a gift by accident. I was wondering if I could also use it also in place of perfume to spray on clothes or neck. I just don't want to return it and have him feel terrible.

I have done it. I use it only on my pulse points (like wrists). It doesn't really lasts on the skin. You might try spraying it on your clothes. Just a light spray. Oh and be careful that about what type of fabric so that you don't stain your clothes. Learned that the hard way. : /

Hey there Beautiful, I recommend you KEEP IT! It smells just like the perfume slightly lighter and works great as a body mist too! I just love to spray it all over and I'm sure you will too!

I have the hair mist and sometimes I use it as a perfume as well. I suggest spraying it onto your skin on your chest and wrist before getting dressed since I think there is some kind of oil in it that may stain clothes if you spray it directly onto them. I would also especially avoid getting it onto satin or silk.

I use it both for my hair and my wrists. I don't think it matters. The only difference is that it is not as potent as the one meant to use as a fragrance.

Question
What is the main purpose of this product?
The normal place I spray fragrance is in my hair since it lasts all day...Is this just like perfume for the hair, or does it have benefits to it, like making hair softer?

Hello there, in my opinon it does seem to make your hair softer but most importantly many perfumes have alcohols that aren't safe for hair and tend to dry strands out and make them sticky, however this one is actually formulated for hair so it keeps your hair healthy and smelling great! I am so happy I bought it as the environment can make your hair smell odd I live in NYC and the smog in the air can make my hair smell weird after a day out shopping, restaurants etc. this hair mist keeps your hair smelling like what you would imagine a princess tresses would!

I believe the purpose of this product is mainly to give our hair a nice and wonderful smell/scent. I love hair mists especially this one because it's my favorite scent. Also, my boyfriend looves smelling my hair so I think it's catching and memorizing for him.

I am not sure about any health benefits for hair. regardless, you'll always have beautiful scented hair all day long with Flowerbomb hair mist.

Hey there, this hair mist is awesome and protects your hair from all the smells in the environment leaving your hair smelling great all day plus it's actually formulated for hair so it won't damage at all as a perfumes sprayed on your hair would cause breakage from the alcohol's it's made with.

In my opinion and experience with the mist, I do not believe it will damage your hair because it is made for human hair; however, I'm sure there are chemicals in the product that may/could harm our hair. It's a mist so maybe it wont be as chemically strong like hair spray and mousse.

Honestly, I do not know if it works better with dry/oily hair. I have a combination of normal to oily hair. I looove the scent and I love it when my hair smells like Flowerbomb!!! However, it does tend to make my hair (on the top of my head/scalp) feel oily and get oily quick. I wash my hair every other day because the lower part of my hair is dry and the top is more oily. So, I do not like the fact that it makes my hair oily quicker than normal but I still love it and I use it all the time.

Question
What is the difference between this hair mist and the perfume?
Obviously the hair mist is meant for the hair but what is the real difference between the hair mist and the perfume? Does it do anything more than give a fragrance to the hair? Can't you just use the normal perfume to spritz in your hair?

Perfumes have quite a bit of alcohol which can really dry your hair (yes they do dry your skin but, it is a very quickly growing organ constantly making new cells, thus the damage is not as intense). But, think about your hair, which is composed of dead cells. To really take out the dry parts, you would have to cut off the dry parts and wait for it to grow. Thus, the hair mist does not have as much alcohol. But, it also does not last as long as the Perfume.

I've read that since normal perfume uses alcohol, it can really dry out your hair. I haven't looked at the ingredients list for the hair mist, but I'm assuming it's formulated without the harsher, drying ingredients. It doesn't seem to be drying out my hair so...I guess it works? :)
