Blinc Mascara Amplified

What it is: A tube-forming, water-resistant mascara that gives buildable, glamorous volume with no smudging, flaking, running, or clumping. What it does: After almost a decade in development, Blinc Mascara Amplified provides incredible, buildable volume and length, all while offering their signature LifeProof properties of the original Blinc Mascara—smudge-proof, sweat-proof, water-resistant, and flake-proof. As with the original, Mascara Amplified coats lashes with a glossy, volumizing and extending coat that forms tiny water-resistant “tubes” around the lash. But, unlike the first formula, this one applies more like a traditional mascara, giving you the ability to add as many coats as you want to build your desired look! Because it is not as wet of a formula, you can even go back and reapply if needed, after it dries. What else you need to know: Removing Blinc Mascara Amplified is just as easy, and requires no makeup remover. Simply apply a little warm water along with some gentle pressure, and the tubes easily slide off your lashes. You will actually see the tiny tubes in your hand as it comes off without leaving any messy black tint or residue behind.

ok to use eyelash comb with this product?
just wondering if it messes up the tube formation if one uses an eyelash comb after application to keep lashes seperated...mine like to hang out together after I apply mascara. Thank you!

I always apply this with a lash comb. You do have to act fast, as it gets very sticky as it dries and you can't comb through it at all after about 60 seconds. I find that if I apply a quick coat (haphazardly, even, when I'm in a hurry) and then immediately run a lash comb through, my lashes stay perfectly curled and separated until I take the mascara off. (Tip: because it's a polymer and removes with moisture + friction, it's super easy to remove globs that end up on skin and eyelids with a quick pass of a qtip or concealer brush after the mascara has dried.) You would want to comb each coat individually if you are applying multiple coats to avoid clumping.

Yes you can still use one. Blinc specifically sells one on their website. But honestly you probably won't need it, I use Blinc Amplified and have never used mine.

I would say it is safe to use an eyelash comb with this mascara, but I didn't find that my lashes stuck together when using it.

Apply Blinc quickly one eye at a time and use an eyelash comb to move or separate lashes. Need to do it quickly

I don't use a comb it breaks down the formula. use the edge of a liner brush or even a toothpick to gently separate while still wet. It also helps if your face is freshly washed the lashes relax more

I think it's okay. I use a business card up against my eyelid that helps separate them as I put on the mascara so it helps.

I occasionally run an eyebrow brush over my eyelashes to soften them up a bit right after I apply the mascara and it's never caused a problem. I think as long as you do it while your lashes are still wet, it'll be fine.

If you are able to get the comb through before it dries it will be fine.

You have to work pretty quickly with a comb to separate lashes. This does a good job of separating but it dries rather quickly

Well, my son (18 year old honor student) and his guy friends say that too much 'smokey' eye makeup is a turn off. Just fyi.

You can pair this thickening mascara with a charcoal or kohl black or grey liner for a soft smokey eye- remember to add a concealer to keep the undereye area bright and prevent "circles" from showing.

Is Fiberwig no longer being made, or are you just not carrying it?
Like others, I noticed that Fiberwig is no longer at Sephora. Can you bring it back or is it just not being made?

I really, really, really want my Fiberwig back!!!! It is the only mascara that really works for me. Nothing, including Blinc, can compare.

Fiberwig is still available, but not from Sephora sadly. Not sure if I'll be in trouble for leading you to another (Asian based) website, but perhaps an internet search might help?
