It does have a light clean smell to it. I only noticed it when I directly put It on my fingers and sniff though. This might not be the one for you.

There is a fragrance. I think it smells good (kind of a floral/fruity smell), but if you want something completely fragrance free, you probably wont' like it.

Yes, it has fragrance in it. It's listed as "parfum/fragrance". I personally like how it smells even though I am sensitive to fragrances. It's not too strong.

According to the ingredients list, this has fragrance in it. It's fairly high up in the list, too. I read every label, because I'm allergic to a lot of stuff, fragrance included.

I have a very sensitive skin and had no issues applying this around my eyes. I think it's important that you mix the product in your hand and put It on your face with your hand. It will go on light and where needed. If you want to be absolutely certain since the product is not cheap, I would ask for a sample. Hopefully they have some samples. ;)

YES. I love using this around my eyes, especially at night. Not really during the day, if I am going to wear eye makeup, because of the oils in it it will make my mascara messy a bit.

I thought the same thing when I first started using this product. If you look closely, under good lighting, you will see an amber colored serum as well as a very pale almost clear serum. I use one pump morning and night after I shower, damp skin seems to absorb the product better allowing me to use less. I've had my serum two months and am about 4/5 of the way through the product. It does seem to go pretty quickly, but the results I have had have been absolutely amazing.

Question
Two products?
I purchased this about a month ago and feel like its not lasting as long as it should for $85. It's about 3/4 empty judging by the side of the formula you can actually see. I use one pump in the morning and one at night. I started wondering if the other side hasn't been coming through the pump??? I only see one product when it comes out but they say to mix them together in your hand? Should i have used this much already using two pumps a day or did I just get a bad pump? Thanks!

I too feel either my pump is broken or it's a gimmick. i have used the product a total of 4 times, 1 pump each time, and mine is over 1/2" gone!!!! look at the bottle, mine is below the word "Paris" on the front! that is insane because at that rate it will last me 1 month. i also do not see two products. i don't know if the opaque side is empty, but now i'm seriously regretting this purchase because of the less than stellar ingredients :/. for this price, you can get a top of the line organic serum on green beauty sites online...

When the product is dispensed into my hand, I am visibly able to see a clear oil and another orange/gold colored oil. If you don't see both, you might have a bad pump/bottle. I also use two pumps per day (one pump in the morning and one in the evening) and I have noticed that I am going through this product a lot faster than I had hoped for the amount of money I spent.

There is nothing on the "other side". It's just package marketing.
The oil floats above the rest of the product, if you look after you pump it on your had you can see it float up...just mix it together.

I think you might have gotten a bad pump. When you squeeze the serum on to the palm of your hand you should be able to see a mixture of clear serum and a golden yellow colored serum, if not, you should go to a local Sephora for an exchange. I think they are very lenient about these kind of problems. :)

This product also has Pentylene Glycolis which is a bad chemical. It is in antifreeze which you put in your car. Also known to cause dermatitis. Look it up. And I was gonna trade Shisedo for Clarins. NOT!

I am the same way, DON"T use this if you're concerned with breakouts! Use only plant oils, and some are lighter than others. Argan works great! Nude makes a good oil too. This has mineral oil so DO NOT use.

I still have the occasional breakout (1-2 pimples) before my cycle (I'm 27, I thought acne was a thing of the past!) but the product does not irritate or worsen the breakout. You'd think otherwise because of the oils in the product, but my scars and texture has vastly improved since I began using Double Serum.

After using it for a couple of weeks, I'm not entirely sure. I've seen some spots go away from using this, but then again, I feel like I have small blemishes from this. It could be poor timing or it could be that I am not using any anti-acne treatments. This does have mineral oil in it so I would suggest not using it if your skin does not like any kind of oils. Mineral oil is supposedly suffocating to the skin. However, if your acne is pretty well-controlled, this serum is amazing.

Maybe it's just my skin, but I found that this has really helped diminish my breakouts, and any pigmentation I get from my breakouts. It did take about 2 weeks of using it everyday at night to notice, but it worked for me. I did not break out, if anything, they have really diminished. I'm super happy with this product. But probably, like everyone else, I like it as a night serum, it might be too shiny for the morning.

Mineral oil is a less expensive type of oil, found in a lot of drug store skincare. It is a "filler" ingredient and doesn't benefit the skin and can cause some people to breakout. This product is more expensive and some would say skimping with its ingredients. To each their own. I have this product and feel like it does a good job with what it promises. It is intended for aging skin and possibly dryer skin types.

There is a company , can't think of the name right now but it starts with an "A", has been telling gullible women that mineral oil is bad for us. Never explains why other than it's a petroleum based product. So women are trying to stay away from mineral oil...a product that is in just about every major beauty product on the market. I use it to take my waterproof eye makeup off, I am 55 years old and not one wrinkle around my eyes.....I'm still alive so I guess it's not all bad.

I think it's because people think that oil clogs pores and causes break outs. It probably does, but if your skin is not break-out prone, then this product is really good, and I feel like that mineral oil is actually helping the cells repair damage (because I think our skin needs oil to stay hydrated, and to keep our cells full, not damaged?).

There was a site that came up on good, probably the 2nd or 3rd link. Basically it's a filler to make more of a product, like adding water to juice, it tastes pretty much the same but now you have more of it. And is also acts as a barrier on your skin. So if you have oily skin your skin won't be able to release it and your pores may get clogged. But on the plus side it will also keep moisture in and on your face as opposed to drying from the air. There are pros and cons and again it will always vary between peoples skin.

I use this religiously, morning and night and my skin has never felt and looked better. (I have "normal" skin my face doesn't get too oily or too dry but I am sad about the size of my pores around my nose and towards my cheeks) It is pricey but to me its worth the price because of the way my skin has turned out from it.

I would definitely use toner first. It does say on the bottle to use this before regular moisturizer. I was told by a beautician that lightest flow of the product should be applied first. My routine is toner, serum, lotion, eye cream, cream ( if needed) , and sunscreen.
