Urban Decay Naked Flushed

What it is: A silky bronzer, highlighter, and blush in a sleek, travel-ready compact. What it does: Use these pressed powders individually or blend them together to create just the right effect and let this seemingly straight-laced trio morph into a tangled color love-fest. Then bask in the radiant glow and let people wonder what you’ve been up to. Urban Decay’s micronized, jet-milled formula has a luxe, featherlight texture that feels amazing on your skin. And the finish? Flawless. Light-diffusing particles enhance and perfect to give your skin a fresh, glowy look…even when your late-night antics have you feeling anything but. The color is intensely pigmented yet blends beautifully and the universal shades are versatile enough for any skintone. What else you need to know: The bronzer is a medium bronze satin; the highlighter is a soft pink champagne shimmer; the blush is a dusty rose satin with a hint of shimmer; and they are all full-sized. It all comes in a sleek case with an easy-open magnetic closure and a big mirror that is compact enough for travel or mid-date touchups.

I'm quite fair myself (I'm a 0.5 in their Naked Foundation) and this palette was introduced to me by a UD rep offering makeovers. When I saw her take it out, I was skeptical and was expecting to walk away looking like I had a horrible fake tan. To my surprise, for as dark as the colors look in the palette they go on sheer and give you a subtle, buildable hint of color. She used the bronzer on my hair line and in the hollows of my cheeks, the blush on the apples of my cheeks, and the highlighter on the top of my cheeks, down my nose and in my cupid's bow. It gave my face a nice hint of color and definition.

My skin is between fair and medium. This looks amazingly natural. Usually products for "fair" tend to make me look chalky so I lean toward medium and apply lightly. This product is perfect for light to medium skin. I feel if you were medium/olive to dark it may not have enough pigment.

I ave fair skin with som freckles, and have gotten multiple comments about how "polished" I look when I wear it. Of course, use it in moderation as you would any bronzer. Love this product!

No, this product will not make you look dark.
This works on those from a really pale skin to a medium skin.

The easiest way to apply something when you fear it may be too pigmented is to apply it with a light hand.

Do not rub/brush your makeup brush in the product.
-Dab it lightly once or twice.
-Tap off excess.
This will help to see how much color payoff you get with the first application.

From then on, you can build up the color as much as you'd like.

Remember, you can always purchase this product online or in-stores and return it if it doesn't suit you.

I hope this helps.

of course not, I am very fair as well. As long as you use it the right way you'll love it. It's best to suck in your cheeks and apply there and then use the blush and highlighter to highlight your cheek bones.

Do these products have shine or glitter?
I prefer cheek products that are matte. Do the bronzer and/or blush have shine or glitter? Obviously the highlighter has some kind of shine. Is it glittery or iridescent? I would appreciate if you can describe how this product highlights. Thanks

I'm a Hoola fan (completely matte), and I love this UD compact more. Obviously the highlighter is shimmery but low key...like satin...and the blush and bronzer are almost completely matte. I just held the compact near a window to see if there was any sparkle.

I would say no glitter at all in the actual bronzer, but it is immediately next to the illuminator and if you are not careful, you may pick up a little "shimmer" flecks from that. The blush is also glitter-free.

The best way to describe this is that the bronze color has a sheen to it, the blush color has a sheen to it and the highlighter has a shimmer. It's not glittery by any standard, especially by past Naked product comparison.

I think if you are looking for a subtle glow without shimmer or glitter, this will fit your standard well. If you're looking for a super shimmery, high glitter effect, you'll be disappointed.

Hope that helps you decide. :)

Any hair color can use these colors. Just apply the pink first then apply the bronze to accent the depth uner you cheek bones. The lighter shade can always be used to brighten if you feel you have it to dark for your complexion.

Question
Brushes?
What brushes do you use to apply the highlighter and blush? I haven't bought the compact yet, but my current brushes I use to apply blush and highlighter look like they would be too big to avoid mixing the 3 (I'd like to avoid getting any sparkles or glitter from the highlighter into the bronzer to keep the color more matte upon application), I just really like the idea of having all 3 coordinated in one pallet though.

I kind a smaller angled blush brush works for me. you should worry too much about getting them mixed together because the sections are bigger than they appear in the picture and all three of them have a tint of shimmer.

You really need the proper brushes. An angled blush brush is great for the blush, acompact kabuki brush is good for the bronzer. For the highlighter, I use a fan brush. I make sure they're not big, puffy brushes so as not to mix products within the tin.

I like to use a blush brush. Or you can use a bronzer brush for the bronzer and blush brush for the blush and highlighter. I just have a normal sized blush brush and it works great, its sephora brand and angled.

I found this product to be too "dusty" or "loose" powdery. When I swirled my brush on the palette to pick up some product, a dust cloud filled the air. Too much off the brush not enough on. It is probably something to do with the composition of the product, perhaps, like you said the high talc content.
