The pink and the highlighting powder both have a very light shimmer that I would not call glitter.

I'm not a fan of glitter either, but I like this. Just enough to catch the light to give your skin a natural glow.

I would not recommend contouring with this bronzer.

It has an orange undertone, which is not typically used for contouring. Grey undertone bronzers are typically used for contouring. In addition, this bronzer has a hint of shimmer in it and contouring with a shimmery bronzer defeats the purpose of contouring all together. So in all, I would recommend a matte, grey undertone bronzer for contouring, and this product is the polar opposite of that.

It is a great product to lightly brush over your cheeks to create a natural, sun-kissed look, however. Hope this helps :)

Yes, I use this for conturing often and it works fabulously. The color can be used to lightly contour or can be built up for a more dramatic look. The texture is so silky and blends right in with your whole face makeup.

If you have Beige or golden undertones I would AVOID this product. It is more of a golden dirt color. The blush is BRIGHT reddish pink. The highlighter is perfect. returned for the Dior Pink Glow bronzer/blush which is a better match if your skin tone is light/medium and has olive, golden or beige undertones.

The best way to describe this is that the bronze color has a sheen to it, the blush color has a sheen to it and the highlighter has a shimmer. It's not glittery by any standard, especially by past Naked product comparison.

I think if you are looking for a subtle glow without shimmer or glitter, this will fit your standard well. If you're looking for a super shimmery, high glitter effect, you'll be disappointed.

Hope that helps you decide. :)

answer 5
No, this product will not make you look dark.
This works on those from a really pale skin to a medium skin.

The easiest way to apply something when you fear it may be too pigmented is to apply it with a light hand.

Do not rub/brush your makeup brush in the product.
-Dab it lightly once or twice.
-Tap off excess.
This will help to see how much color payoff you get with the first application.

From then on, you can build up the color as much as you'd like.

Remember, you can always purchase this product online or in-stores and return it if it doesn't suit you.

I hope this helps.

I'm quite fair myself (I'm a 0.5 in their Naked Foundation) and this palette was introduced to me by a UD rep offering makeovers. When I saw her take it out, I was skeptical and was expecting to walk away looking like I had a horrible fake tan. To my surprise, for as dark as the colors look in the palette they go on sheer and give you a subtle, buildable hint of color. She used the bronzer on my hair line and in the hollows of my cheeks, the blush on the apples of my cheeks, and the highlighter on the top of my cheeks, down my nose and in my cupid's bow. It gave my face a nice hint of color and definition.

My skin is between fair and medium. This looks amazingly natural. Usually products for "fair" tend to make me look chalky so I lean toward medium and apply lightly. This product is perfect for light to medium skin. I feel if you were medium/olive to dark it may not have enough pigment.

Question
Bronzer color comparison.
I'm just curious as to how dark the bronzer is. I have a medium-dark complexion and Benefit's Hoola is barely dark enough for me.

answer 2
I use both products on my olive skin, and the pigmentation is about the same when applied to my face. Benefit's Hoola has a grey undertone to it and so I use it to lightly contour, but this product has a orange undertone and so I use it on top of dark, grey undertone bronzers (like the Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Medium/Dark Matte Bronzer) to create a natural, sun kissed glow.

In short, this product definitely isn't as pigmented/dark as some other high end bronzers, and it is NOT darker than Hoola. Good luck :)
