I think you could probably do either, although Glinda will be a more dewy look and Theodora will be a more dramatic and sophisticated look. Some of it may actually depend on whether your skin tone tends towards olive or pink. I have a pinker skin tone but I prefer the Theodora palette since wearing pinks tends to make me look even pinker and my hair is brown, not blonde so that looks a bit odd now that I'm not a teenager anymore and can't pull off the "dewy" look the way I could in the past.

It really depends. I have paler skin right now from not tanning yet and both colors looked good on me in my opinion. I like the brighter red on pale skin.. I think it gives a great look. Its up to you, both are great buys. I prefer theodora over glinda though :)

I think it really depends on what look you're going for. I have a medium skin tone, dark eyes, and both palettes. I prefer the Theodora palette because it really makes my dark eyes pop. The Glinda palettes is nice, but it's much more subtle and will add light to your eyes if you're fair but I don't think it'll add much else.

I think both would be great ... It actually would come down to what looks you like to wear more. The Theodora pallet has the ability to create more subtly sultry looks where the Glenda pallet offers the ability for a more glowing and fresh look... Which ever you choose you won't go wrong !

I have very fair skin and own both palettes. Luckily, people with pale skin can actually wear any color as long as they do it correctly.

In my opinion the color of the eyes are not so much important than the color of your skin. You will have to really know what type of skin type (season) you are. If you are fair skin the Glinda palette would look the best for you. Most fair skinned people are summers and springs which the color in the Glinda palette will work best for your skin tones. Now by all means you can get the Theodora palette and use that if you prefer those color but i believe that the Glinda palette would be the best. I think Theodora would complement your skin tone and eyes best. The dark colors would be striking against your pale skin and the colors in the set will make your brown eyes pop.

I would definitely recommend Theodora for you. I have similar coloring-- fair skin, dark brown eyes, and dark brown hair. These neutral warm colors are awesome for me. These are good everyday colors.

However, if you like cooler toned shadows, Glinda should be fine for you too. Both palettes are lovely!

If you look at the description of the Theodora lip color it says "bright red creme," same as the Fbomb description so I would say it's probably the same thing, just renamed for the palette.

I'm African American. Hi. :) I noticed that most of the reviews were created by women with fair, light or medium tones. So I guess this question is more for Sephora: Is the Theodora Palette good for medium-toned African Americans? I noticed the duo-shade of green which is always a hit on black women. But was curious about whether the rest would be washed out on us. Thanks.

The last brown one is a pretty dark shade, and would probably look wonderful on you. :) Plus, the lighter shades can be used as highlights, and the eye liner and lip pencil are great as well!

I'd think the gold and black with gold glitter in it would also be lovely.

Note that the palest color is a shimmer shade, not matte, and the dark coppery bronze color below it is also a shimmer shade, but the other two are matte and they both go on relatively sheer compared to how they look in the kit and how many of UD's other matte shades go on. You may still be able to get some mileage out of those shades depending on your exact skin tone and how you like to use browns.

I saw that on the swatches page they have a swatch done with an African American as well as a medium and a fair skin tone. You might be able to see how well it will work on you from that. I'm Native American and I think the Theodora palette looks great on medium to darker skin tones. The greens especially. I love love love it. The Glinda Palette is best for lighter skin tones.

I've got olive toned skin and I love it on me. I guess it may depend on how dark your coloring. I'm sorry I might not be helping as much as I hoped! The green went on much more sheer than I expected.

I saw these colors swatched in the Sephora Beauty Talk section of the site. They did comprehensive swatches on light, medium, and light skin and I was jealous of how gorgeous the colors looked on the dark skin, compared to the light skin.

Here is the link to take a look for yourself. If it doesn't work... go to the 'Advice' tab up on the horizontal toolbar, then in the search box put in "oz swatches", and the find the 'swatchboard' entry.

I have similar features (except I have blue eyes), I purchased both. You could pull off the shadows in either one. But because your eyes are green, the purples in the Glenda palette would be best for you. The purples would make your green eyes pop.
