When applied correctly, yes. Be sure to exfoliate before applying the tanner and letting it dry completely (best practice is to apply it before bed, wait at least 10 minutes and then leave it on while you sleep, then shower in the morning to remove excess product).
After you wash off the product, moisturize frequently (especially after showering) and do not exfoliate unless you are planning to add more tanner.

I'm not sure if it is technically "waterproof" but as with any self-tanner I wouldn't shower within 4-8 hours (I usually wait overnight anyway). I showered the next morning and it stayed put. The color lasted about 4-5 full days.

Just don't rub too much with soap/washcloth or it will start to come off.
