After I open the pod how long can I use it for?
The lady from Sephora told me I have to finish using one pod within 10 days and that it'll last 2-3 applications. However, i was able to use it 7-8 times in 12 days. I forced myself to use it like every other day in order to use up that pod in 10 days, which I found to be annoying and kind of a waste.

on Golden Root Purifying Mud Mask
I use this mask weekly (I have a bunch of other masks in rotation), and I get three uses out of one pod. After opening, I store it in an empty 1oz Ole Henriksen container- the pod rests perfectly atop, and seals nicely when I close the lid. It's as good as new even after three weeks at room temperature :).
I get 3 masks out of each tub, and just seal the foil back up. I use it twice a week. If you used it 7 or 8 times (!) you're not getting enough benefit. Slather it on and enjoy!
Don't cheat yourself, just apply one whole pod at one time, the effect is better than apply less product but doing it often. You can just apply the mask once a week or once 1.5 week. I use to 'stretch my product' as well, but realized the effects aren't as great.

I think you could keep it open (but firmly sealed) for a month. I have been with no issues. It works as effectively from the first use as the last use, and I do one application every Monday night.
I apply a mask once a week and get 4 uses out of every pod. I just seal the pod in a ziplock bag between applications. I don't think it can go bad or at least I haven't seen a difference in how it works during week one as compared to week four.
One pod lasted me a month with 4+ applications. I stored it in a ziplock sandwich bag and used it about once a week. There was no decline in the mask at the end of the month, so perhaps the sales lady just wants you to use it quickly to make another sale. ;0)

The clay starts to dry out by the next day, I find it best as one use per pod.
