I use the product as directed with the cloth and then follow up with a quick run with my Clarisonic. Love it!

I got a sample and tried it with my clarisonic. I didn't really like it with the clarisonic. First off, my face was not thoroughly clean afterwards so I still had traces of makeup. Secondly, the clarisonic brush head had a lot of residue on it which may potentially clog later on. However, I do like this cleansing treatment by itself and with the cloth. Hope this helps!

i don't use it with my clarisonic. only because i think it's a little too oily/greasy and it may not be easy to wash off the brushes and also i don't think it would glide as easily as a regular cleanser (since it's oily). plus, it came with a cloth, so i think it's better to use it with what it came with than to use it with the clairsonic.

According to the Josie Maran Cosmetics Facebook page, the company says you can use this cleanser with a Clarisonic.

I wouldn't recommend it. This doesn't really cream up or lather and I can see it getting clogged in the brush. That being said, maybe someone else has tried it and had success.

Perfect for bed time use-that is when I use this product. Your skin will feel clean, soft and ready for your nightime repair and/or moisturizing products.

I think it is a great bedtime cleanser in theory but I find it works best to use in the shower when I'm shampooing my hair afterwards. Because its oil based it can creep into your hairline throughout the night and that only works if you're planning to wash your hair first thing in the morning. My experience :).

Rinse well after each use and then hang to dry
After 2-3 uses I through it in the washer with light colored items and I don't use fabric softner for that load to avoid changing the texture of the cloth, which is part of the cleansing process. This has worked well for me.

Question
OK for acne prone skin?
I use her Argon Oil and it;s fine for my skin. But didn't know if this made anyone break out who already has acneic skin? Also, can you use this with the Clarisonic as I currently use it?

Okay for acne-prone skin, if you use it about 1x - 2x a week. Do not use it every day, it would overload your skin with oil.

I would use this first and then follow up iwth the Clarisonic. I haven't tried it using the Clarisonic with the product but I have used the Clarisonic immediately after and I'm pleased with the results.

I just did a review -- and yes I have hormonal acne. My pores get clogged easily. This product seems to be gentle on my already beaten skin. It really cleanse my skin without being too harsh - important for acne-prone skin.

My skin is acne-prone, & it did not break me out. I use Argan oil every night, as well. This product is amazing. I wouldn't use your Clarisonic; it will ruin the brush. The cloth is amazing & will take off your makeup. I wash my face at night with this a few times a week, & use my Clarisonic in the AM.

I usually massage it into my face for about a minute or two. I use it twice a week. DO not use it every day, especially if your skin is oily or acne-prone. It is meant to replenish skin.

You can choose to massage it in as long as you want, but it really only takes about 20 seconds. I read on Josie's blog that sometimes she rubs it in and then takes the cloth under hot water, rinses it out and puts it over her face to create a steam effect! I tried that and its very nice!

I am anti-massaging of the face. I use a steamer. Daily use has not hurt,me so far. Best Bet -- Use as often as you like. Common Sense works, too.

We suggest massaging the product into your skin for a minute or 2, so that the cleaning oil has the chance to penetrate and breakup the makeup.

Question
Does this remove eye makeup?
I currently use a cleansing balm from REN, and it really works well. That being said, I LOVE Josie's products and would love to switch to this, but only if it removes my stubborn waterproof mascara as well as REN's does.

This product does remove stubborn waterproof mascara. Apply it dry to your face and eye area (Keep closed so try one eye at at time.) Then add small amounts of water and next, use the cloth. Follow up with rinsing well and then pat dry. I would use the Clarisonic if you have that and/or tonic in the oilier parts of your face (like the t zone) if you have combination skin if you want a deeper clean feeling.

It removes all my makeup, water proof included. Try going in to your local Sephora and ask for a sample? That way you can find out if you like it and if it works for you!

Question
Sephora, why did you delete my question!!!! I wanted to know if anyone could compare this to the Ren Cleansing Balm
I use the Ren balm and really like it but wanted to see if this one might be any better for the extra cost. I love some JM products so I am hopeful.

I haven't used the product you mention but I have used many other products including JM's original cleansing oil and I really like this one with the cleansing cloth. It seems like a very good value because a small amount goes a long way and you can't beat how well this product cleans and moisturizes your skin. I'm a big fan!
