Question
Bright Fuschia Pink?
I've tried *several* brands of the "your natural shade of pink" products (including Smashbox). The only one I haven't tried yet is the Dior one. I am fair, my lips are fairly full and have a light natural pinky nude color when bare. Every single one of these products turns bright garish fuschia pink on me (one actually had the ugly fuschia with a tinge of orange, if you can imagine). I've swatched them on my hand, walk around the store a bit to give it time to change, find the color flattering on my hand, buy it, but then when I actually put it on my lips it always turns into the ugly fuschia. There's no way I can use the sample in the store on my lips (yuck!). I'm just wondering if anyone knows if all these companies are using the same "intuitive" technology? If they do, I'm not even going to bother. I'm not a returner, so my friends and family score big with all my leftovers. =(
