I have super oily skin and when I first tried this product I was scared of trying the oil because of that fact.
But since I started using the oil, my skin has taken a break from over producing oil because it is receiving it from a different source and the oil from this kit make your skin look like a glowing goddess kind of shiny instead of stressed out teenage shiny like people with oily skin tend to look like.
But if you are a little scared, try it out at night when you aren't having to face other people and see how your skin feels in the morning.
(Also, it makes your skin soft and helps dry up acne; such a plus!)

I'm not a professional, but from what I've read, an oil like maracuja oil can actually help combat oiliness. It doesn't make sense, but the easiest way to describe it is by saying that using certain types of oils can sort of trick your face into thinking it has produced enough oils, and might actually help improve oily skin. I know that this oil is good for any skin type in moderation. For oily skin I'd say not to use this during the day, and rather use it at night. Hope I helped a little.

Is this supposed to come with the concealer?

I just bought this set and returned it because mine only came with the powder, the oil, and the brush. I bought it as a gift for someone but found it ridiculous to give someone a box with an empty slot for them to buy their own concealer. I clearly see that it's supposed to contain the concealer in the set so I'm guessing maybe they just sent me one without the concealer by accident? (I didn't double-check the description before returning it, but did remember that I had to choose a skin tone.)

Did you open the box and check inside? When I received mine I was dismayed to see the empty slot, then I looked inside the box. One side had blue-purple paper, holding the brush, powder, and oil, and the other side had a slim box with the 'fair' concealer inside.
