Question
How shimmery is it?
Some of the reviews mention it as matte, but the description makes it sound shimmery. I'm looking for something mostly matte, so how matte is this? Compare to the BareMinerals Skinny Dip, which was a bit too fair for me.

I was looking for something matte to contour and this works great ( I purchased in Shady Business). There's absolutely no shimmer in it what-so-ever.

In the compact, you can definitely see that it has a little bit of "shimmer". But once it's on your skin, it appears matte. I use it to contour, and it makes it look more like a sunkissed glow. Don't worry - there's no glitter or fairy dust on your face when using this product!
Love. Definitely try it out. I was shopping for something matte, but this adds a little subtle something extra.

I have medium skin also, and my HG bronzer is Everlasting Bronzer in Shady Business II (the dark brown). The description says it has shimmer, but I use it daily and to contour, and I don't find that it "sparkles". It's more of a healthy glow.
Happy bronzing!

I think this is a great bronzer for contouring! Not orangey or shimmery, I feel it's very natural looking.

It's not completely brown but it's also not that orangey. I like to use it to contour and I just dust on a little so it comes out natural. It depends on the color of your skin really.

Try the darker shade, it will most likely be beautiful with your tan medium skin. If you seem to be a little on the lighter/medium tan side I would go with the lighter one. They are both very pigmented and have an orange hue in both so be aware of that. I wear the lighter shade and I am light to medium and I use it with a light hand but still enjoy it.

Both shades have a slight orange but if you aren't pretty tan and medium skinned toned I would go with the lighter one. I have brown hair and brown eyes and I had to return the darker one because is was so unnatural and orange! I returned it for the lighter one and it is still pretty intense if you use a lot. Try the lighter shade and be light handed and see what you think! ;)

You may be able to go either way. Both the shades are very pigmented with an orange hue so if you like something more intense try the dark but you may want to try the lighter one if your not too much of a fan of orangey bronzers. I am light-medium and the dark one was way too much for me but I am loving the lighter one if I use a light hand.
