The box is plastic, like melamine and sturdy. It's also pretty big. There was room to add the rest of my routine make up in it. No morning clutter- just put everything back in the pretty box and go!

What shade?
I am very fair (always buy the lightest shade) but the lightest says yellow undertones & I have pink undertones. Would the next step up be too dark for me?

It's worth it to visit the store (or any Sephora dealer, if there's no store near you) to match up the right color for you.

I am fair, but no pink or yellow.... I usually get fairly light, but in the summer I get med beige. the more you buff, the more it blends.... the brush that comes with this set makes the difference.... you WONT be disappointed. you can always mix it with another shade, or even maybe get the starter set which comes with 2 foundations AND a mineral veil.....which will also lighten up anything that may appear too dark. BE is a very great product to blend your perfect color.... vs liquid foundation being dark and leaving lines.....BE will NEVER leave a line

This product is perfect for aging skin as it minimizes teh wrinkles without caking in them and making them look worse. My Mom is in her late 60's and this is the only makeup foundation she uses - and she looks great.

I'm going to be 49 this year and my skin is normal to dry with fine lines and sun damage. If you moisturize well, I think you'll like it. It doesn't settle into lines and pores like some foundations do and it's not drying like you might expect.
