If you use the mineral powder sparingly then yes. I use the same foundations except I use the bare minerAl powder and I notice its more clumpy if I use to much powder in comparison to using a stippling brush with the liquid and then the powder. The sponge works well but not as well as a brush can give you a more touched feeling where the sponge I feel gives me more of a layered feeling if I'm not too careful with it.
