How long should I keep trying?
I'm 28, with difficult though not gruesome skin. There's nearly always one active and a few fading blemishes, mostly on my cheeks (I think that means it's hormonal?), and revolting large pores all over my poor nose, etc. My skin's also quite sensitive, so anything aggressive tends to backfire. Basically I just always look spotty. It would be less obvious, except I'm a super pale person, and I don't want to change that, because spots are better than melanoma.
So to be honest, I got this hoping it would be a magic bullet—clear up acne and get rid of the old acne spots. Well, my question is, how long do I keep trying? I feel sort of stupid asking, because I'm only on day six; but I don't see any effect at all, and there are lots of people saying they could see a difference by day three or whatever. I mean, I'm not even having any *bad* effects, like breakouts.
Is it maybe because I'm already using Clarisonic? Is this redundant, or something? If I should keep trying, how long for?

on Blue Plasma
Are you using it every night? It's not aggressive, so you may not see the results like you would a spot treatment - as they are very aggresive and drying (benzyl peroxide/salicylic). Your cells last about 28 days, so sometimes it does take that much time, to allow the cell to die and another born, especially if your looking to help out any acne scaring.

Have you tried his Intensive Pore Minimizer ?
Its got alpha lipoic acid (anti-inflammatory) to reduce the redness, zinc, and magnesium to help the cells do their work. I love it !
Use it as your toner with the Shiseido cotton (you'll use less product) and it will last several months.

This product is exfoliating and will make your skin and pores appear tighter...BUT for me it has not helped acne at all. In fact, any blemished I did have prior to using this product have multiplied by an ungodly amount. According to a Sephora employee, this is merely my skin "purging" and she had apparently seen much worse...which I cannot begin to fathom. Do not bother wasting so much money if you are looking for acne reduction...for me it has multiplied my acne. Safe to say I am horrified at the results of this overhyped product..
I had congested skin and constant break outs. My suggestion is to pair blue plasma with perricone intensive pore minimizer. These two are my secret weapons when used together. The intensive pore minimizer has salicylic acid in it which will help with the breakouts
