I used it my stomach, and it did work. Just make sure to put alot of cream on so it moves smoothly and doesn't stick when you suction. Hope this helps!

I use this on my stomach to help tone down the natural pooch I have. If you have cellulite on your stomach, I say go for it because that's what this machine does best.

No. It won't even work on my rear. Love Fat Girl Slim, though

If by "work" you mean can it be used on the stomach then the answer is yes. But whether it is effective on the stomach, I cannot say at this point.

is this unit rechargeable or does it work straight from an a/c adaptor?

It can work from the adapter, but the cord would get in the way of you manuvering the machine around. It charges fully in about 2 hours.

It is rechargeable. You plug it in for up to 8 hours and use it until the battery needs recharging. I haven't had to recharge mine yet (5 uses).

answer 3
It is chargeable and I do not recommend having it plugged in when in use - charge it - then unplug to use, it holds its charge well, then re-plug it back in when not in use to charge.

Rechargeable, be sure to charge it all the way and let it run out all the way the for at least 5 rounds of the battery. The battery will last a long time. I'm going on 3 weeks without having to recharge it.

Can I use fatgirl sleep instead of fatgirl slim with it?

You can use any cream with this device. Any cellulite cream will add the benefits of that cream in addition to machine use. The cream allows the machine to easily move over your skin.

answer 2
You can use whatever cream you want to - you do not even need to use the Fat Girl line of products, however, if this is to fight cellulite, I would use a cellulite targeted serum or cream.

It really doesn't mater what kind of cream you use. It is just to keep the rollers moving. You can use regular lotion and finish with one of the fat girl products if you choose.

Question
Is there a demo video available? I can't get it to work properly!
I used a thin layer of fatgirlslim as instructed but it doesn't glide very well. It either rolls along with no suction or if I turn the suction up, it just sucks pockets of fat! I can't get it glide and suction simultaneously. Help. I really want to use this product the right way!

I can't give you a demo video but I can tell you that you need lots of lubricated/lotion. I have to reapply during the treatments as well. There's an art to using the machine. You have to get it to start sucking and then make sure you have enough force pushing the machine from the back to get it to move forward along the skin. If you let it suck too long, it'll stay in place. be careful not to hit the release suction button on the back and don't peel either end upward or you'll release the suction as well. It will hurt as it sucks and you drag it along a path of skin but that is what causes it to break up the cellulite tissue. If you have a partner, spouse, significant other, or good friend, you should ask them for help with the back of thighs and butt because it is hard to get good angles on those areas.

Do pulsation 2 and slightly move the suction up. You do have to put a little elbow grease into it, and make sure you are using enough cream for the glide.

There is no DVD with the product and unfortunately the booklet is not well done nor thorough. I understand that there is a tutorial massage when you buy it at a Bliss spa but they charge an additional $50 for that.

I use this product on areas with cellulite that also have stretch marks. I'm not so sure it helps reduce the stretch marks (only been using for 3 weeks) but it definitely doesn't make them worse and really reduces cellulite.

I've been using it on my arms and have had excellent results. I have fairly mild cellulite on my arms though. I do mostly an upward movement, toward my shoulder, for about 3 minutes on each arm. It's a little trickier to maneuver on your arms but well worth it in my opinion!

Question
Is the front roller supposed to move when you turn the machine on or is it just the rear roller?
I am still getting the hang of this thing. I am not sure if the front roller is supposed to move. I am also not sure if this is supposed to glide. Mine sort of sticks to each spot.

Only one roller has a motor behind it generating it to roll. What I would call the "back" roller is a free roller that glides while you help push the machine forward. The rollers work best with freshly lotioned skin and you may have to reapply during.

answer 2
The suction it to high if it gets stuck. The roller that is under the lights in front should roll. You should only roll the way the lights go. So if you are holding the machine and the lights on front are going down then do all you stokes downward. Turn the machine around with the lights upward for last stockes.

answer 3
It is actually the front roller that moves and only the front one (the back on simply follows). The instruction booklet is confusing in that it says to roll this unit back and forth but because of the setup as described above it seems to work only in one direction.

Question
can other cellulite products be used?
I really do love this machine---I've only had it for about a week--and all of the cream is gone--it seems to be too thick to keep adding more and more---don't get me wrong---I love all of the Bliss products==it just seems like something a bit more diluted would last longer-and be ,more effecient the checking account----any suggestions? Thankyou so much! Jen

bliss has always veered on the expensive side for my taste. I returned this machine. I say do some dry brushing before your shower, use an exfoliating scrub in the shower, them get some fatgirl slim and just massage it really well.....

I used a store bought body oil instead. That will make the machine glide and not suck up all the lotion.

Question
can other products be used?
Are other cellulite (a bit cheaper-sorry-) products, able to be used with this machine? I love it! I just don't know if I can afford so much of the bliss products--not too be a cut-down---but they burn the wallet----I was thinking of cellulean---or something from e-bay.....I seem too use alot-----I'm sure Bliss is the best, and when i can afford it---of course will use----just in between treatments-are other products worthy?---with the machine?--meaning same effects-----not too be a penny pincher---it gets a bit expensive--thankyou so much!!!

I've been using a light coat of skin oil with the machine which seems to make it glide easier. The cream would dry out too fast for me. I do still use the Fat Girl Slim after I'm done with the machine though.

Question
Bruises
Is there any way to avoid bruising with the Bliss Lean Machine? I haven't seen anyone else complain about it, but when I use it, I end up with a lot of tiny bruises, mostly on the front of my thighs. It looks really bad! If there isn't a solution, it's going back because the bruises look worse than the cellulite.

The bruises mean that the muscle suction happens. you should reduce the level of suction. to get rid of cellulite you should massage the fat layer - not the muscle. bruises mean that the massage is too hard for you.

I bruise really easily, so I was not surprised I got bruises from this one too. I tried it on a less intense level, and then I couldn't feel anything. Also, the suction-release button reacts too slowly, and gets very slippery when you have lotioned hands. Not impressed, but keeping it for a little more while. Please be careful!
