Says to use in am also but has retinol so I am confused as I thought you could only use retinol in the pm due to sensitivity to sun.

Not enough in product to cause a problem, but use sunscreen if not already in your make up.

My opinion was that it does not have enough retinol to make a difference when you use it. It is somewhat greasy and I used it only at night. I would not want to wear it during the day under eye make-up.

Well, this is likely assuming that you are wearing sunscreen and/or protecting your face from direct sun with a hat or glasses. You could use it at night instead, if you are only using to to treat fine lines and wrinkles. If however, you are wanting the little bit of illuminating glow that you get, then that is likely why they recommend using it in the morning. Personally, I'd just use in the evening and then add some kind of illuminator to my face overall, for daytime glow.

I have sensitive skin and decided to use this only at night. I was also puzzled with the description upon first purchase. I just alternate this with my day time eye cream which I already own.

I was using the Clinique All About Eyes and just recently switched, but I do see that undereye bags are much less noticeable with Dr. Brandt's cream -- even when I am tired and it's the end of the day/night. I use it with Amazing Cosmetics concealer.

Dermatologist Fredric Brandt, MD tells ELLE.com "If you're buying over the counter, look for 2% retinol, that is the most percentage permitted by the FDA," informs Brandt. "I use that in my Glow product, which is time released, so the benefits last all day."

I have been using perricone products for over 20 years. I recently switched to other products (some more expensive and some less expensive). I am switching back to perricone. I have not seen results with other products and regret the switch from perricone. They are expensive, but worth it!!

I thought the same thing, matter of fact I bought two eye creams prior to this one and saw no results. I have been wanting to purchase this for along time did the research and I have to say it is worth the money! You only use a dab for each eye so it last. Best one I have used to date!

Can you get your eyebrows waxed while using this product (unlike Retinol-A)?

answer 1
This eye cream should be applied on eye lids and under eye and its retinol concentration is fairly low so it will not interfere with your waxing process. However, I would not apply the cream right after waxing your eyebrows. After waxing you should apply in the area waxed a product that calms and it’s deep moisturizer.

answer 1
Dr. Brandt never did test on animals-at all! This product was developed, formulated and researched at Dr. Brandt's research facility in Coral Gables, Florida alongside his 10 Dermatologist prodigies who insisted that ethical standards would be met without the use of animals as "guinea pigs." Most lab tests are done "in vitro," however, those that are not conducted that way are tested on cadaver tissues donated by those who chose to contribute their organs to science.
