The white tub would be too drying, in my opinion. The black tubes are only a touch drying on the skin, and could probably be overcome by using a good moisturizer afterwards. I got some single use samples directly from glamglow, of both kinds. Personally, I didn't find the black glamglow to be super impressive. It is ok, but not super special for all the hype. The white I first put all over my face and hated it. It took about 2-3 days for my combo-but-leaning-dry-skin to start to get back to normal. But, if you have problems with blocked pores in your nose (blackheads and whiteheads) then the white is great to keep around just for that purpose. This is why I want the white the most--just for use on the nose 1 to 2 times a week. I figure if I buy the white, I might as well get the black for use now and then, but very rarely, or I could pass it on to someone else. Hope this helps!
I have combination skin, my T zone is a little bit oily but other part is dry. After using this i didn't feel any dry skin at all. On the opposite, my skin just feel clean and fresh.
