Question
Is this a full coverage foundation and is it good for mture dry skin?

This is not a full coverage foundation, more of light-medium. It should be good for a mature skin given that he finish is rather luminous, and the texture is skin-like.

I would classify this as medium yet buildable coverage. it's very thick and will settle (cake) into fine lines but if you apply it in small pea-sized amounts with a damp sponge and kinda stipple it in, it should smooth into mature skin just fine.

Question
Coverage?
I looks like coverage is as subjective as perfume, these days. I've read reviews here describing sheer foundations (which I own) as full coverage that left me shaking my head in amusement. Still, since my local Sephora does not carry this brand (and since I guess I still believe in people's capacity for objective evaluation), can I ask somebody to please tell me how much coverage this fdt. has compared to, say, Sephora's 10 Hr. Fdt., or Givenchy's Couture fdt. (the new Teint Couture; not the Photo'Perfection one)? Thank you!

I don't know either of the foundations you mentioned. But I would say this provides about the same coverage as Makeup Forever HD, maybe a touch less. Many say MUFE HD is a medium foundation, so I would say Becca Radiant Skin is light-medium, but build able. It is not sheer (like a tinted moisturizer) nor is it full-coverage (like, say, Estee Lauder Double Wear(

I would say this is a medium coverage foundation with pretty good staying power. It leaves you wish an airbrushed finished that evens out and covers nicely. For the record, I have dry skin and it seems to work well.

Does this foundation give you a white mask in flash photography?

No, this has no flash back. In fact, it's very good for the camera.

What you put on top of it, however, is also important. If you set with a powder, try a loosely milled, moisture rich powder like the Becca loose powder or Sunday Riley loose powder. Avoid HD powders since they can give great results in person, but are actually not flattering on camera, surprisingly. They are responsible for a lot of white flashback in normal pictures.

It does not contain any SPF, so it should not give you a white cast as long as you use the right shade.

Question
breakouts?
I have combo to dry skin. I know it says it is suitable for all skin types. I don't see anything stating that it is oil free. I was wondering how this is for those that are breakout prone like me?

This foundation IS perfect for most skin types. I have combination skin which is dry but is sensitive and I tend to break out very easily. This product, I have been using for over a month now, has not made me break out.

I have combo to dry skin and I break out easily. This was perfect for me - no breakouts, didn't dry or oil my skin - felt weightless and looked very natural.

You should request a sample (i think they are offering them now) for light tones. it will come with 6 shades so you can try them to find your match. Each of the 6 shades is enough for up to 2 full face applications.

We sound like we have the same skin tone, but I used Rose Ivory in Laura Mercier...Shell or Porcelain would be the best bet. If you have more pink undertones, go with the Porcelain. If you have more neutral undertones go with the Shell :) hope this helps! It's a million times better than Laura Mercier by the way!

Laura Mercier in "Nude" has always been a little tiny bit too dark for me, and Shell is my perfect match in the Becca foundation. So you may want to go just one shade up from Shell?

When it comes to foundation, you must, must, must go to a Sephora and try it on…it's the most important cosmetic you place on your face and the color must be perfect.

They don't have this in all stores, but most of the newer / bigger ones do
its best to see this in person because its not something that'll blend into the skin if its the wrong color..
and the color IQ code wasn't accurate for this foundation

I just posted a review about this amazing foundation. I use Buff or Buttercup with a little Bare Minerals Light without powder. Buttercup is more yellow, so it is closer to Light. It also seems yellow base. It looks very nice!

My Sephora (Towne Center Mall) has a device that will take 3 pictures of your skin in various areas, and then it will match all the foundations that Sephora carries to your skin color. I hope your store has the technology, and I hope this info will be helpful. Be careful when choosing which type of Becca foundation as they have options for matte and radiant finish; very different results.
