Yes, this can definitely be used for day or special events. The primer enhances the darker colors even more and there's a shimmer color in there, too :)
Absolutely! Using the sassy & richly pigmented lipgloss and adding the dark brown eye shadow in your eye crease at night will add the sexy touch you're looking for. For daytime eyes, the white and tan or white and purple keep things pretty, but not overdone. (And the dark brown accents the purple well...the shades in the palate go great together!)

It depends on how you use the colors. Use the lighter colors for every day and the deeper colors for a night out. Very versatile colors! Just use a little more for a dramatic look!
I think you can make a darker more dramatic eye for events but definitely use the colors for everyday wear. I wore them lighter today and they're very versatile. Bronze and purple are pretty universally flattering.
I would consider it both. I don't normally where the very dark black eyeline. I'd save it for a night out. I had my eyes done at Sepora with the pinkish/mauvish color and dark brown and they came out very sexy. I guess it all depends on what your skin tone is and how often you where the darker/brighter colors. The lip gloss is a wonderful pink. You can definitely give it more pop with lip liner.
I think so! You can definitely build the shadows and add more sparkle as needed. :)
Perfect colors, day to night
I wore this to work, and it worked great, and can really amp up for going out at night.

Yes, it is a very versatile set! You can use the eyeshadows in different ways for day or night. Perfect for travel, too!
It is really versatile as the set also comes with a look book. One look is a light day time look, while the night look is a sultry play on a smokey eye and the lip color is divine.
I've used this every day since I bought it and am getting more comfortable to make up my own looks.

This kit is perfect for day and night no matter what event it may be. If you want to soften your look go for more of the neutral shadows that are brown to contour your crease and the cream color shadow. Now if you want to use it for special events use the shadow in Flash (matte plum) onto your lids to your crease and to contour use the brown shadow. Add some eyeliner onto your upper lashline and lower lashline apply mascara and blush and your good to go. Keep it simple don't complicate it and be overwhelmed with the colors you see. Play with it and see how it goes for you. Here is my look with the BE TheLight Show Set palette below. This is my day look I like a smokey look. Brings out the color of my brown eyes. Hard to see with the picture. You can get this kit @ bare escentuals site.
