I just submitted a long review on the product, check it out, but to answer your question, in the summer I use it alone, but I'm sure it won't provide enough moisture in the winter. Then I may use it over my moisturizer, actually answering your question may have solved a concern of mine! Instead of looking for another product to do it all, I'll use my moisturizer all over, then apply this after to those more oily areas...

There are some moisturizing properties in this product but I would still suggest using at least a light moisturizer with an SPF, especially if you're going to be outside.
This product is an oil absorb-er and while it will offer some moisture you want to make sure that your skin is moisturized. If skin doesn't get proper moisture it will produce more oil!

I think it depends on your skin type. If you're super oily, you can prob use it instead of moisturizer. I have combination skin so I moisturize my dry areas and then use this all over.
