The box is cardboard, but very pretty with gold foil and flowers. Of course, the tubes are classic L'Occitane metallic plastic with elegant labelling.

The scent is soft and pleasant...they all seem to have a sweet, honey-like undertone.

the scent on the rose petal was overwhelming, the mango was fabulous, and I date was nice too.

The mango scented one is a bit strong for my taste, but the rose is just lovely. The date flower one is also very nice, but it's sort of a different fragrance so it may not appeal to everyone. The fragrances are not cloying though and fade after the lotion is applied, so it's not like you're walking around two hours later wafting rose fragrance....

The date bouquet scent IS overwhelming, however the mando scented one is not. I haven't tried the rose one yet.

Subtle after massaged in use sparingly. Can work with perfum 5 mins after application

No the scent is not overwhelming at all. The mango and rose smell the best, I could leave the date scented one (brown tube). It's not bad just kinda old lady or something... The scent doesn't last long, it fades in like a minute and I used it in a movie theater my friend sitting next to me didn't even smell it, he only smelled it when I leaned over by him to ask if the smell was bothering him. Hope this helps!
