Yes! It is completely opaque. It is a full coverage lipstick. If I look really closely you can see tiny sparkles in the bullet, but once it's on it just looks like a cream, with no shimmer (I HATE shimmer). I think according to the description it's supposed to have gold mother of peal in it? But I honestly can't see it at all, so if you are looking for a really good red lipstick, to me this is one of the best I've tried, I'm completely in love with it!
