This clinically tested, vegan product does not contain gluten, mineral oil, or talc. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens- Sulfates- Synthetic Fragrances- Synthetic Dyes- Petrochemicals- Phthalates- GMOs- TriclosanWhat else you need to know:The Cover FX shade system is easier to follow and is inclusive of all skintones. Cover FX created more shades with each shade scientifically three percent darker than the previous shade in the series. Find your undertone (underlying skintone): P = Pink, N = Neutral (equal parts pink and golden), G = Golden. The lower the number, the lighter the shade. NO! I am only 27 and when I put it around my eyse, it makes me look like I'm 40. It settles into wrinkles and creates dry and uneven patches even when they're not really there.

I'm 60 and I love the Cover FX Cream Concealer. It CAN look over-heavy if you use a heavy hand...it doesn't require much! It covers my age/sun spots very nicely and I don't even wear foundation. Just Cover FX concealer with a mineral powder to set it.

In my own experience using this concealer, I would say that it depends on your skin type overall. If you have drier skin and fine lines/wrinkles under your eyes, I think this may not work so well. Just a personal recommendation would be to apply an eye cream prior to any concealer use, and maybe go for something like Laura mercier or bobbi brown as their concealers are said to be very moisturizing. Also, the touché éclat is brilliant for brightening the underyes without caking into fine lines.

Question
This vs MUFE full cover concealer in a tube
How does this compare to the MUFE full cover concealer (in a tube)? I would use them to cover blemishes. (longevity, how it does on dry patches, which is better for acne prone skin, etc).

As someone with a lot of acne scars and blemishes, I can tell you that this stuff works wonders! I tend to get dry skin too but this concealer never gives me any trouble whatsoever. I highly recommend it.

I would stick to MUFE. I usually get MUFE full cover concealer but decided to give this one a try instead (because its cheaper) and I was disappointed. It just does not cover as well or last as long as MUFE's. Plus it is more noticeable that you are wearing make up- just doesn't have that creamy well blended appearance.

Question
Is this foundation cakey?
I have very dry skin and most concealers/foundations are cakey on my skin. I use moisturizer a lot, but I am wondering if this concealer is very cakey or does it work well for dry skin?

This is concealer which should be placed in problem areas or to cover up uneven skin tones. It's not to be used as foundation, only under the eyes, around the nose, on blemishes, etc.

Hi,

From my experience this concealer can be quite cakey. I would probably not use it if you have very dry skin, I personally have combination skin and I found it to be quite cakey even when I mixed it with a bit of moisturizer in the hopes of smoothing it out. Hope this is somewhat helpful!

I think that would depend on what you're concealing and if you want your concealer lighter, darker or the same as your powder. If you plan to use it for undereyes, for example, you may want to go a little LIGHTER than your powder/skin color. I use it to conceal age/sun spots so I use a color that matches well with my skin color.

With Cover FX, you need to determine whether you have pink, golden or neutral undertones and pick the P, G or N toned concealer accordingly.

The N stands for Neutral, and I believe that the G is for Golden, as in the hue of the concealer is more of a golden tone. The best way to know which color works best for you is to head into a Sephora store and have an expert test some colors on you. That's what I did!
