Questions & Answers for Stila Seeing Stars Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner Set

Question
How the heck do you get the remaining color out of the barrel?
It *looks* like simply twisting the barrel should work, but it doesn't.

Hold the largest part of the barrel still and twist only the top, tapered part. That's what worked for me!

Had the same problem but if you keep twisting and pressing upwards while you twist it eventually comes out! Hope that helps!

I had this problem too! I think the packaging needs improvement because it is really difficult to get the liner to twist out. I have to spin the barrel in different directions before it finally catches to push the liner out a little more. Maybe because these don't appear to be full-size liners and there isn't as much product in them as the individual ones?

Keep twisting for a little while. If it still doesn't, it's probably broken.

Only sometimes have I encountered this issue, but if you pull the very top slender piece off of the eyeliner, you'll see the rest of the product. Then simply snap it back on and it should be unjammed.

I had to keep twisting and twisting - eventually got the product to come up. But don't over-do, you can "untwist" and get product to go back down. Poor mechanics!

You have to give twist it a lot. I also apply some downward pressure while twisting. It seems to do the trick.

Just keep turning, it will come up, it takes a couple extra twists

If you are at the bottom of the stick and twisting doesn't work anymore you can pull the top of the barrel off. There won't be much left to use, but that's what I do.

answer 1
Yes! Lionfish was one of my favorite shades, and the brown eye liner in this set has a very similar shimmer/metallic finish to it.

Yes, I would say that they are pretty similar in shimmer quotient. Again, I just wasn't that impressed with the lining ability.

Yep, very slightly shimmery, enough to be pretty and different but not enough to be overwhelming or obvious.

Yes – all of the colors are shimmery. And the brown has tiny micro flecks of bronze glitter. But it's very subtle. A beautiful color.
