Yes it can hang. The main compartment is roomy and the flap that zips up is actually a handy mini storage. If you hang it in hotel doors, unzipping that flap might spill your stuff out as it has to be upright to keep contents inside; that's the only con. Otherwise a nice travel bag.. I use it mostly to take to the gym.

No, it doesn't hang like a regular hanging tote. The zip open flap has a very long pocket inside of it. I think you could possibly hang it, but that might puts too much stress on the handle and the zip flap.

No. It just has a grab handle. If you're a decent seamstress, it's worth it to buy and add your own strap :)

You can hang it on a little hook or nail however, The handle is very small and I could barely use my hands to hold it.

It's pretty bulky but the contents don't take up much room. I had space for my makeup, other toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, facewash, etc.) and then I stuffed it with socks. I normally travel with a rolling carry-on and this tote took up about 1/5 of the capacity. It's about 3/4 the size of a basketball.

I don't have the exact measurements but it is larger than I had anticipated. All of these products fit and I could fit all of my other travel toiletries like shampoo and conditioner, 2 hair brushes and assorted other supplies. The zipper unzips like a U shape so the entire tote could sit on the hotel vanity open with easy access. It is also very sturdy and more like the totes of years past. Give it a try! I think you will be very impressed! I know I was!
