Question
HOW DO I OPEN THE LIP PALETTE?

I had this same problem too. Don't try pushing on the back, that piece doesn't actually move. If you flip it over a bit you'll see a gap between the back plastics and the tray. You can use that space to help you slide the tray forward.

I had a hard time figuring it out too at first but you just have to slide it out. It pushes out towards you. Good Luck!

Took me forever to open it too! It's a slide. If you have the top cover open with the eyeshadows facing you, slide the bottom of the palette towards you. Voila!

I had the same issue. Use your thumbs to gently slide the bottom toward the clasp. If you press very hard it will not slide open.

Keep the entire palette closed. Hold it in your hand. Grab the bottom portion with your 4 fingers and slide it towards you. It is not a flip open type of palette. The bottom part slides out towards you, the way a drawer slides out of a jewelry box.

It is small enough to hold in one hand. It is not big at all, it is more of a travel size. I've had mine for about a month & all of it (blush, eyeshadows, & lipsticks) are still lasting me. But it wouldn't hurt for them to make it bigger. It's not worth spending a lot of money on (I spent $15). That price was good for me.

Hi, I'd say the palette is about the size of 2 iPhones stacked atop each other. It was smaller than I expected, but that was better, as it's a good size to carry in a purse.

answer 11
It's definitely small, although I think it's priced just right for it being a sephora set. If you make a fist with your hand and measure from your pinky knuckle to where your finger bends next, thats about as long as the eyeshadow colors. (about 1.3 inches maybe).

the brushes are very nice....but I need more. I don't like to use the same brushes for dark and light as the colors are very saturated. I am able to use for 4 colors at a time (both sides of both brushes) So either be prepared to restrict your use, buy more applicators, or clean often.

answer 5
if you are someone who is really into makeup and owns makeup brushes i recommend use your own, but if you are just starting out i think its great quality because i didnt experience any shedding and the brushes are very soft. I appreciate that this palette doesnt come with a sponge tip applicator which is very common and i love how you get a blush brush, an eyeshadow brush, and a lip brush. So i think they are decent for people who are starting out and dont own any high end brushes.

The colors are awesome for fair skin tones & blues eyes. The browns, tans/beiges, & greens really compliment my skin & eyes (fair skin, blue eyes). The colors are sparkly but don't show up to sparkly once applied.

these are mostly neutrals, browns, taupes, champagne, ect. They do have some shimmer and when applied with a damp brush, intense pigment.

The eyeshadows in this palette are very true to color and are very pigmented. They have a very butter and smooth texture and they glide or very easily to the eye. They arent chalky or too powdery and they are just great everyday neutral eyeshadows.

Question
What is the name of the blush included in this collection, and can I purchase it separately?
Love this " pink" blush! I'm a red head and hate blushes that are too "pinky"..
This one is just right.. Seems to be a tawny apricot- pink and mostly matte w/ a very slight hint of sparkle. Can I purchase it separately?

Ive purchased this pallet and the blush is actually quite shimmery and pinky. The picture provided does not do this blush justice!! If you're wanting this separately you should check out the Nars orgasm blush which has been compared to this before! or check out Elf for a cheaper option.

Thanks for the suggestion...
I loved these so much that I bought 2 more for Xmas gifts. While in the store I asked about the blush & also compared it to others in the Sephora line.
NO LUCK! As a matter of fact, I asked in 2 stores & t the blush wasn't too close to any others in the stores either. Oh well!
It's kind of like men, I'll just have to fall in love with another....

They don't give a name for any of the items in this palette, blush included. It is a Sephora Collection item, so I would suggest going to a store and to compare with Sephora's blushes or better yet, ask an employee to help you!

My new secret pleasure is out! Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics(OCC) are sold separately and in a set. With a variety of colors and a lip applicator provided, I'm always grabbing for my lip tars! They have lip tars, nylon lip tars and metallic lip tars. With so many vibrant colors and varieties, these lip tars are a bang for your buck!
