Questions & Answers for Clarisonic Aria™ Sonic Skin Cleansing System

Question
Can I use the body brush with this device?

It's not recommended because the original has a built in memory for the body brush (clicks in differently to the face and body clarsonic) which applies more speed when the body brush is attached while attaching it to the mias or arias wont have the same desired affect as the face and body.

I'm pretty sure you can, but Aria is made for face.
However, remember, your body skin is also skin - the same skin that's covering your face!!

I would go for the Plus if you want to use it for the body, it has a body brush and will not wear out your brush faster. The brush heads are really meant for the face.

I think for the dollar value - the Aria. It has all the features of the full size but is more travel friendly like the Mia.

They are all fantastic and the same...some just have a few more features...but none that inter-fear with the cleansing. I purchased the Airia because I liked the ability to change the cleansing programs from short to a longer one plus I can change the speeds as well.

Question
Hi! I'd like to know if I can/need to use a scrub while I'm using the Aria.
Or simply if necessary, because I tend to think that the brush's already doing a exfoliating job.

It states in the instruction book that comes with each of the Clairsonic models that you "are not supposed" to use the facial scrubs with the cleanser...they can ruin the brushes. So unless you want to replace your brushes more often then every 3 months, then don't use facial scrubs.

Hi Lulamm,

Strong scrubs are not recommended since the Aria gently exfoliates your face!

I did notice a few pimples that may have been caused by the brush. My skin was definitely softer, but I wound up breaking out a tiny bit. I think if you have blackheads, it can turn them into pimples, because it causes them to surface.

answer 2
Yes, the skin will naturally break out initially because the clarisonic is cleaning out your pores. But after 2 to 3 weeks it should become clear.

answer 3
Some people will experience a outbreak because the clarisonic is "purging" out the impurities in the skin through the pores. it's basically a detox for the skin and some people i know have breakouts for a month but then their skin turns amazing and thats the reason i got one cause their skin had a 360 degree turn and ivve never seen my friends skin so perfect before.

the original not the mia 1 is what you mean right? the original has self memory for the body brush and the aria, and mias do not, so its not recommended that the body brush be used for any of the systems other then the original.

The "travel-friendly" size and the three speeds make it different from the Mia (one speed) and the Mia 2 (two speeds). That said, my Mia 2 travels perfectly, and I really don't need a third speed.

The mia is only one speed with a one year warranty. The plug is a standard north american plug as well. It also cannot take the body brush. It does not have a stand and it simply runs for 1 min when you press on with no indication of when you should switch to another part of your face. You also don't know when the battery is dying until you're half way through cleaning your face and it decides to stop.

The aria has 3 speeds and a 2 year warranty. The plug is a USB (theres a connector to plug into the wall) so it is way better for travelling. You can also attach the body brush to it. It also has a light indicator to tell you how much battery life is left and a stand (the mia does not have a stand). The timer can be adjusted to 1 or 2 mins and it will beep to indicate when you need to move to a different part of your face.

And then the obvious - the mia is the oldest model and the aria is the newest model.

This one has 3 "speeds"... I have the Aria, and honestly the 3rd and strongest speed is a little unecessary and too strong. I would go with the Mia2 (2 speeds) ...the only difference now is that the ARIA has a stand, which is neat but not necessary.

Does the USB can be plug on a foreign outlet?
I am considering buying this as a gift for someone living in France where the power outlet are different.

No it can't...you have to plug it into your computer which has to be plugged into a voltage converter or use the battery from your computer ...which will then run that battery down and you might not be able to use your computer.
