I have combination skin myself, and whenever I wear this primer (which is all the time, not gonna lie), the oilier parts of my skin need powder less often, sometimes if at all, and the drier parts don't look nearly as dry. I recommend it for most skin types; drier skins will need something more hydrating, or a really good moisturizer underneath.

I would say yes, if you use the product with a powder over it. I have normal to dry skin and depending on the look I want (totally matte or semi-dewy) I add translucent powder over the t-zone when I use this.
But for oilier skin, I think you would need a good coating of mattifying powder all over the face with this.
That said, I don't think it will ADD any oiliness. It's actually quite a balancing formula. Hope that helps you out a bit! ;)

My skin is not oily so I can't answer from experience, but I do think that this formula is so lightweight that it doesn't clog my pores. I would suggest asking for a sample at a beauty counter like maybe Barney's? You could try it out first before spending the $. I know that the Sephora store I go to doesn't carry this line in store.
