I found it didn't help with blackheads at all.

I find that once you start using the product it really helps with whiteheads, but after awhile it's just not effective whatsoever. That's just based on my own personal use. And it doesn't do anything for blackheads.

What's the reason behind the "do not shake" instruction?

don't shake, you want the pink potion at the bottom- that's what dries up the acne. avoid getting the clear liquid as best you can, by using a q-tip.

Hi,

The bottle has an alcohol content (the clear liquid that you see on top of the pink solution) that is needed to keep the pink sulfur based solution from drying. The real product is the pink sulfur solution at the bottom of the bottle. Therefore, we are not supposed to shake the bottle. We are suggested to dip a q-tip to the bottle to get the real product out and apply it on the acnes. I hope this helps.

Question
Apply before or after moisturizer?
I am confused when I should apply this. Before moisturizer but after toner? Or after moisturizer?

Since this product leaves a noticeable pink residue it is best to use it at night. As far as before or after moisturizer, I would say moisturize around the area since the application area is covered in dry film of the product and moisturizer would interfere with the product.

This happened to me too when I moved and it got shaken in a box. Just leave it for a while- maybe overnight, and the sediment will all settle back to the bottom of the bottle. When using, dip your q-tip all the way down into the pink stuff, and apply where needed.
