Questions & Answers for T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i

Question
Difference between the Luxe 2i and the 2?
Other than the price difference, can anyone please help explain the difference between the Luxe 2i and the 2?
Is it worth splurging on the 2i?
TIA!

The Featherweight Luxe 2i has a built in ion generator which generates even more negative ions. The drying time and beauty benefits (shine, frizz reduction, style retention, etc.) are a step up from the formidable Featherweight 2.

The Featherweight Luxe 2i also includes a 2.5" Tourmaline Ceramic barrel brush to help style a fantastic blowout.

I heard from a salesperson that the only major difference is that the black one is slightly lighter but that's pretty much it.

I had the same problem with mine! I took it back to the store (I keep receipts and packaging for this kind of stuff), they gave me a new one that lasted another 4 months, went back again, and this time they exchanged it for a ghd. So far so good.

Question
Motor noise level
How noisy is the motor on this dryer, compared to others? My husband sometimes complains about the noise of my blow drying, and I try to get ones that aren't too loud, or don't have that annoying high pitched whine.

This blow dryer is definitely quieter. Of course no blow dryer will ever be quiet, however, this is less noisy. My husband actually remarked on that (since he is sleeping when I get ready in the mornings). Infact when you are drying yor hair, you may feel initially that it doesnt have a lot of power if you are used to noisy dryers that have powerful air force. However, despite the fact that this dryer is quieter and the air pressure is softer, it dried my hair faster than any of the other dryers I have had.

All of the T3 dryers are designed for quiet operation with a low tone; however, we invite you to turn on demo dryer in store so you can hear it in person!

About the same. It is definitely lighter, however the difference is miniscule. I appreciate the difference sine my arms get tired very quickly but I have never had that problem with the T3i

What is the wattage?

answer 1
This dryer is 1800W. The great thing about T3 dryers is that they are designed with proprietary Tourmaline SoftAire technology to dry hair gently and more quickly using less wattage. Traditional dryers rely on wattage to blast water off the hair but this can lead to uneven drying, frizz and overall damage.

T3 has designed the dryer to work without a replacement filter for ease of use. If any lint has gathered on the back of the dryer, you can simply clear it with a toothpick.
