Questions & Answers for SK-II Facial Lift Emulsion

Can someone please tell me the difference between all these products? They generally sound very similar - they either brighten or moisturize!!

I consider this to be a basic moisturizer. I use it for daytime and then I use the skin refining treatment for night along with the Cellumination moisturizer. The Cellumination line is good for brightening and I'm not sure I would consider any product to be lifting!

In my opinion the main difference is really the consistency. For instance, the essence is very thin and watery so it absorbs straight away, the facial lift emulsion is a light lotion consistency that you can feel on your face for a little while after application, the moisturizing cream penetrates deeper for more repair so it's creamier and concentrated, I use this one overnight... I think it just depends on how much age correcting power you feel you need. Any product in this line is surely going to be beneficial, you can't really go wrong.... this stuff is amazing. Personally, I found sample sizes and tested until I was satisfied with one main choice (which for me was the Essential Power Moisturizer )... best of luck & hope this helped :)

Is this product a serum?
Would I apply this after my serum but before moisturizer or is it a serum?

No, it is an emulsion. It goes toner/lotion, Essence, serums, emulsion, any extra treatments you may use, then moisturizer, and then SPF if morning. Use after serum or instead of serum. Some very oily skinned people find it adequate as just their moisturizer. I love it and move it around in my routine as I adapt to my skin's needs. There is a starter kit which contains the cleanser, Facial treatment Clear Lotion, and the Facial treatment essence for a decent price. Try that and see if your skin reacts positively! If it does, than I'd venture into SK-II. Wash, wipe with cotton pad that has clear lotion, pat essence into face after sprinkling some into hands. Done. :)

I apply moisturizer and any serum prior to the night treatment and make sure my face has absorbed that product before applying the night treatment - the treatment is like a thin gel.

This emulsion vs. Treatment Essence for acne prone skin?
I am trying to decide between this and the Essence. I have acne-prone skin so I would like to use a product that improves clarity and texture. I am not sure which one would be most appropriate.

You would use this after the essence. Use the essence after the Facial Treatment Clear Lotion. Use the clear lotion after cleansing. Perfect regimen for acne. The clear lotion wipes away at excess and preps the skin. The essence treats and softens the skin, making it ready to beat receive any following treatments. This is an oil free lightweight moisturizer that is very beneficial for the skin and does not disturb acne but helps it by providing hydration!
