Question
Application and frequency of use?
Should this product be applied using a cotton ball or are you supposed to pat it on with your fingers? Also, should it be applied morning and night? Last question, should you use this in place of of lotion or cream? There is not a lot of information on the "how to use" tab.

Pour a few drops into your hands and gently dab it to your face. Apply it every morning and night after cleansing.

Although this product is titled "Mask-In Lotion", it does not have the texture of a typical lotion and it cannot replace your face lotion/cream. I do not consider this product a toner either (although it is listed as a toner on Sephora.com). What it is, is an in-between step, special treatment that you use after cleansing and before serum that provides additional hydration and luminosity (over time). I do not apply this with a cotton pad/ball since it is not a toner, and I don't want the cotton to absorb most of the product. I simply place a few drops, the size of a nickel in my palm, rub my hands together and then slowly pad it onto my face from the center to the outer. You will know if you have not used enough if the product does not cover your entire face, or used too much, if the product is all sitting on the skin and not being absorbed after a minute or two. I hope this helped.

Don't waste it with cotton balls!:) A few drops to pat around the face. I use it morning, on its own or with a light moisturizer on top, depending on how humid/dry the day is. At night, under a night cream, if you are interested in minimizing pores. If you are young, you probably don't need other lotions/creams.

No. Nothing shimmery or anything like that is in this milky looking, slightly thicker than the Essence type of "lotion."
I'm glad I saw your question because I'd not want shimmers, either! I hope I helped :)

Question
This product or Whitening Source Clear Lotion?
Both of these items offer very similar benefits. Has anybody tried and/or use both? Can you please compare the 2 products in any way you can think of and let me know if you noticed if 1 worked better than the other and in what ways. If you do not mind, please let me know your skin type and if the item helped as you had hoped/expected. Is this item not as much of an exfoliater as the Whitening Source Clear Lotion or what? Thank you very much for any advice and help!

Cellumination mask in lotion is great for adding luminousity to the skin and I really liked it. It also seems to tighten pores...guess that's why the skin looks smoother and luminous. The other is also a good product and works really well on spots. I think it works as good as other serums targeted for evening spots.

Yes, they are very similar as they both brighten the skin and lighten the appearance of age spots. The cellumination lotion is also said to soften the skin. It's consistency is more of a liquid while the whitening clear lotion is more of a light gel. The whitening clear lotion is an exfoliation lotion. You put 2-3 pumps on a cotton pad and in a sweeping motion apply it around the areas of the eyes, t-zone, cheeks and neck. If you examine/look very closely at the product it has very, very fine shimmer particles that maybe contribute with the exfoliation part but I'm not sure. Once applied on the face it is not noticeable at all. There is no shimmer in the cellumination lotion but both are quickly absorbed into the skin. I tried the whitening lotion first and it really helped my skin. It helped brighten my skin back to it's original state from a bad tan during the summer and kept my face flake and dry free during the harsh winter. I have oily/combination skin (more on the oily side) but overall both products have done great things for my skin!

Question
Use this with or in-place-of Cellumination Cream EX?
Has anyone used both this mask-in lotion and the Cream EX?

Since this is in the same line as the Cellumination Cream Ex, do you use this before/after the cream -- or use this mask-in Lotion to replace the Cream Ex?

Thanks!
