There are 4 cards for different skill levels. They recommend colors in the palette to use but once you get the idea of the application technique you can experiment with different colors.

There are 4 cards included with the set. I liked the cards, except for the "Pro" look. You could ask a sales associate at Sephora to suggest a couple of looks for the palette. I use Pastel, Amethyst, and Orchid to make a purple smokey eye. You could also use a grey on your lid, and then use Nocturnal on the outer edge of your eye.

there's 4 cards. one for beginners, intermediate, advanced & pro.
you can pretty much substitute any of the eyelid colors for any of the other colors. it's a really good palette.

There are four cards/looks. At first I was disappointed in the color combinations. The looks are fairly neutral. But once I started playing around with different colors using the same directions, I was very impressed.

I believe there are 2 looks.....they are pretty simple and step by step.
