Living Proof Weightless Styling Spray

What it is: A smoothing styling spray that eliminates frizz by blocking humidity without weighing hair down. What it does: Living Proof No Frizz Weightless Styling Spray is the first new anti-frizz technology in over 30 years that doesn’t rely on silicones or oils. Instead, No Frizz derives performance from Living Proof’s “miracle molecule,” PolyfluoroEster, to create a weightless shield on hair that blocks humidity absorption, smooths the cuticle, and repels dirt. The PolyfluoroEster shield is established over the first five uses of the No Frizz regimen, so it becomes stronger, the longer you use it–and can be maintained with consistent use of No Frizz products. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Parabens- Sulfates- Synthetic Dyes- Petrochemicals- Phthalates- GMOs- TriclosanWhat else you need to know: No Frizz Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave-in create a healthy foundation and help block humidity, while the No Frizz Stylers complete the shield to stop frizz in its tracks. By using the complete regimen, your hair will be so protected it will block humidity and stop frizz even on the days you don’t wash and style. Stylers deposit even more PolyfluoroEster because they are leave-on versus rinse-out products.

Questions & Answers for Living Proof Weightless Styling Spray

Is this good to make already-straight hair sleek?
I have naturally straight hair. I am over-40, though, and I would like my hair to be sleeker and shinier. Would this do the trick?

No, I don't think it will. I've been using this and commented that it does help with frizz, but it does not smooth my hair as much as other products have. I would try something else.

The Weightless Styling Spray helps smooth out the hairs cuticle to achieve a sleek finish that lasts, without being too heavy. Its a great addition to already straight hair to avoid frizz!

isn't Alcohol Denat drying for hair
I want to like this but worried that the Alcohol Denat is drying for hair. Advise?
Also, does it protect against heat damage ie blowdryers/irons.

I do not feel that this is drying, especially when sprayed on damp hair. If anything, alcohol would only slightly speed the rate at which it dries. But it does not feel like it dries my hair out at all.

I spray this on clean, damp hair, then smooth a serum through it. Makes me feel like I'm sealing it in. :) It works!

Is this better then the no frizz cream?
Was just wondering if this is better then the styling cream or are they the same when comes to frizz blocking. I like the cream but would love it in a spray formula.

I like it better than the cream. I feel this works better for my fine, thin hair. If you have thick hair I would use the cream.

Depends on your hair texture. Mine is really fine and curly, so the spray was perfect. Lightweight and did not weigh my hair down. I used it with a curl styler and that held my style while the spray cut down on frizz. Awesome produce.

Hi tssophie! This product does not need to be activated with heat to help prevent frizz. When you apply this to clean, damp hair, simply brush through to distribute the product and let it air dry!

Will this product be as effective if I use non-Living Proof Shampo/Conditioner?
Will this product be as effective if I use non-Living Proof Shampo/Conditioner? I kind of just want to get this spray without having to invest in the other products as I like the shampoo/conditioner that I'm already using.

I think this spray would add value to your routine no matter what. Having said that, most damage that we try to repair with styling products can be avoided with a quality, chemically reduced, moisturizing shampoo.
I mix products from various lines too. Whatever works best for you is what matters, in my view.
