Use an angled brush like the Make Up Forever 9N brush to lightly apply the product. Use flicking strokes to apply the brush onto your brows:http://www.sephora.com/eye-brow-brush-9n-P80919

My experience is that using a normal brow brush (no matter how short or angled the bristles) puts way too much product on the brow. After experimenting, I found that using an artist's type brush (the regular tapered kind), gave me perfect control. I first apply a small quantity onto a tissue or the back of my left hand, then dip the tip of the brush into it, then apply. I sometimes also rub my brow lightly with a tissue before the product sets, in order to make the color a little lighter..

The product is applied using a #9 angled brow brush (I use the Sephora brand). Imagine your natural brow line and using your brush, gently apply upward. A little goes a long way. I always dab a little on the back of my hand and can control the amount on the brush and I have found this works best. After the gel is completely dry, I use a regular brow brush to slightly tone down the color for a more natural look. Hope this helps!

I am not affiliated with Sephora is any way except that I keep giving them my paychecks, but check MUFE's own website. All shades are available there.

There are only three shades now. You can still use a darker brow powder over shade 25 to match your brow hair perfectly.

I am in no way associated with Sephora (except that it seems they get the bulk of my paycheck). It may have been discontinued due to the enormous inventory they carry (they keep best-sellers in stock). You can find the shade you want at Make Up For Ever's own site. Good luck!

I just bought that color. The girl said it was new. It sells out incredibly fast though. Ask the store manager when they get shipments or see if they'll hold you one. Good luck!

They do all look very light but the darkest color looks great , I am a make-up artist and a dark brunette( almost black) and it works beautifully on my brows which I also color darker. Very natural look. For an auburn/red-head use the medium color, its meant for redish hues of brown/blonde.

The gel dries darker than it goes on. I use #2 and have light brown hair which is highlighted. The #3 looked just too dark.

Question
WILL THIS WORK FOR PEOPLE WITH NO EYEBROWS
i know it sounds silly, but will this work on people with no hair on their eyebrows? i had a condition which caused my eyebrows to thin and never grow back, so i literally pencil them on everyday. i was wondering if this would work on someone who has no eyebrows to "fill in", meaning could i use it to just draw my brows on like i normally do with a soft pencil? Thanks!

I agree with previous 2 responses. I have no brows at both ends and just a little in the middle. Product has a lot of pigment. My natural brows are medium dark but I use the light blonde (10) and it blends my naked ends with the existing brow perfectly. Shade is natural - no red. I use a more narrow tipped brush than suggested - the Makeup Forever straight brushy #250. I've tried dozens of products to solve this problem. For me, nothing works like this product!

I would say yes, this product would work great for that. I think it would actally work better than a pencil and look more natural. The fact that it is water resistant and smudge proof is a benefit too. The key is to apply with the right brush. You want to be sure to apply just a little bit of product on the back of your hand. Then take a stiff angled brush and apply (picture attached). I think you will be really thrilled with the results.

I'm in the exact same boat as you! I bought this last year because I thought it was a really cool idea. It totally works and looks beautiful on people who have no eyebrows! If you don't have a lot of experience working with products like this, it takes a LITTLE bit of practice. With this stuff, a little goes a long way. I would definitely recommend this to you!

taupe is a great easily blended color. use a good brow brush to fill in with a light hand and build the color as you go.

Question
COLOR FOR BLACK HAIR- is this the only colors you have?
I have black hair and dark brows- I have ALWAYS used very dark brown or a soft black on my brows. What is this color ASH? Will it work for BLACK HAIR?

My question was NOTHING about 'Taupe'- of course I know that color is too light for almost BLACK hair! And whomever said it go to the maker's site- MAKEUP FOREVER- that won't work either because they DO NOT SELL PRODUCTS, they tell you where to buy them! So I'm still back where I started asking this one question: "Will the ASH color work on dark brown/almost black hair"?

Ash is a taupe blond color that will NOT match black hair.

"Ash" has a grey tone to it. You want your eyebrows to match your hair as closely as possible. Examine the swatches on Sephora. There are additional ones on MUFE's own online site; try to determine which would complements your hair exactly without being too dark or overwhelming.

I recommend blonde 15. This is what I have and it's perfect. Tried the light blonde 10 shade and it's VERY light. If you have any darker tones in your hair the 15 will look great. Not too dark; not too light.

Just found it in one of the larger stores. The sales person didn't even know they had it! She said it was new. I'm not so sure it is a new product, but they thought it had a new name. The Aqua name seems to be new.

I have very sparse eyebrows after having gone through chemo and have tried a variety of brow products. I did not care for this, because if you have no, or hardly any brows, then the product looks painted on in my opinion. I was using Anastasia powder and have gone back to that. It comes in a compact with two colors, and I like the option of mixing to get the best color.
Also, I feel the powder adds weight and texture that you do not get with a gel, and this is important for women like us who have little or no brows. It helps you achieve a more natural look. Hope this helps!

I personally find more that a natural look, with this product you get an intense polished look. Personally I love it because I like having fierce bold brows but if you want something more natural pencils and powder may be more up your alley. However if you want to rock a fierce defined brow and want it to last all day, this is exactly what you want.

First sketch in a brow shape with an eyebrow pencil. Then use a slanted eyebrow brush with a small amout of Aqua Brow on the tip to apply to the brow shape for a long lasting brow!
