I use this product every other day, or 2-3 times a week. It is gentle enough if you don't use a lot of harsh products in your skincare routine (like acne cleansers, acne treatments... etc..)

Question
Wash off?
The directions here state to wash off after 10 minutes, but for http://www.sephora.com/power-peel-trade-professional-spa-grade-kit-P375421 it says not to wash off. Which one is it?

Definitely wash it off. It is supposed to remove dead skin, so why leave it on? Wash off after 10 minutes to reveal your smooth and flake free skin

answer 2
I remove the product with a damp washcloth and then rinse my face with water. I found that 10 mins is too long for my skin so I leave it on for five/six mins instead and still get wonderful results. I would definitely wash it off - it could dry out your skin.

I decided to give this a try -- and it worked!!!
I had these ugly bumps that wouldn't turn into pimples and were just congested skin. After about a week (two applications) my skin became smoother and definitely within two weeks my bumps were gone.

I've seen my once-constant blackheads in my very, very large pores disappear. My pore size seems to have shrunk, too.

I think so. It worked for me. My only problem now, it did such a great job getting rid of the gunk in my pores, I have open pores. They look like little holes. I wish I could get rid of this part of it. But my skin feels so good, I really am not complaining. When I use my foundation it smoothes out the open pores.

Yes, if used regularly because it helps to exfoliate the dead skin from your face. This along with regular cleansing (2x per day, Boscia cleanser with Botanical Blast is amazing) helps keep pores from getting clogged.

Question
How many uses out of this jar?
I'm contemplating on whether I should get this jar or the 6 treatments of the Power Peel Professional Grade kit. Which would be a better value? My main reason of wanting to try this product is to heal up acne scars, which by the reviews seems to work wonders. Thanks!

I have no idea what it would do for your scars, but I know that it will last for a very long time. Only a thin layer 2-3 times a week, youll get a lot of uses out of it

I use this peel once a week, and after 4 applications of it, the jar still appears full! The little brush thingie that comes with the peel helps make applying the peel very easy and ensures that you don't use too much product. I am very pleased with this purchase, even though it was a pricey one, because it appears that I'm going to get a lot of mileage out of it.

Hi, I have used this 4 times and it looks like I haven't used any out of the jar. A little goes a long way, especially if you use the brush that is included. I would recommend this peel. You can use it more often as well.

I actually got more than 10 peels out of this jar. I alreay have a night-time moisturizer that I love (Korres Wild Rose+Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial) and a polish as well, so I didn't bother getting the power peel kit. But I would recommend getting the power peel kit if you're hesitant about your own polish/scrub and moisturizer or if you don't have one or both.

If you have very sensitive skin it might. My friend used it and her face was red for about an hour. When she used it again she left it on for half the recommended time and didn't turn red.

The first time I used the peel my skin was not pink or red at all. It didn't seem to do much. But after I used it two or three times, my skin was a bit pink when the product was drying. After I washed it off, my skin around my cheeks and eyes were a little pink. Seemed to fade throughout the night.

Immediately after, yes. If you make sure you follow the directions to a T, then the redness will subside maybe 15 minutes after you wash it off really well and use a moisturizer. Good luck!

everyone is saying to make sure to use moisturizer after this, so is a good healing and hydrating mask a good thing to use after the peel? Can I use this once a week as an at home facial with a mask after?

With the cooler weather my skin has gotten drier and using a great moisturizer after this peel really does wonders on my skin. The dry patches are gone! I think that this peel gets rid of all the yuck that blocks lotions and other products from soaking in adequately.

That's exactly how I do it. It's the same as the second step in OH's 3 step peel system, which comes with a moisturizing mask as step 3 that you put right on top of the peel for 10 minutes. I've gone both that route and a moisture mask as a completely separate step and gotten great results both ways.

i have very sensitive skin prone to dryness and allergic reactions to peels like this but i have used it two days in a row before and it worked really well with no side effects. it usually burns a little when you first put it on but it goes away after a few minutes and for me there is no redness or anything afterward so maybe its supposed to burn a little.
