Question
Wash off?
The directions for the lemon peel http://www.sephora.com/lemon-strip-flash-peel-P375423 say to wash off after 10 minutes, but the directions here say not to wash off, so which one is it?

the directions you found are for when you are doing the lemon strip by itself, however, when you are doing the 3 step peel you want to follow those directions, so you want to leave the lemon strip peel on for 2-3 minutes by itself and instead of washing it off, you want to apply the chamomile comfort over top, leaving it on 20 minutes and rinsing it off with warm water

After rinsing off the exfoliater scrub, dry your face and smooth on the lemon peel. Do not rinse off the lemon strip. After three minutes, smooth on the chamomile comfort mask on top of the lemon peel. Wait 15 minutes and rinse your face.

It depends on your skin type. Daily peeling is not recommended for any skin type as you can damage your skin. If your skin is really oily, I might do every other week. I have combo skin and use this product monthly.

I apply my moisturizer right after I use this product. Your skin is more ready to accept all the benefits of your fave moisturizer after it has been properly prepared. And, it is very soothing. I do this peel at night and by morning, I am fine.

answer 8
Your skin will be red anywhere between a couple hours and a full day after using this mask. Don't worry, that isn't something to be concerned about; the more intensive a peel is, the longer your skin will be reddened. If an exfoliator or peel doesn't leave you red at all, it probably isn't doing much to resurface your skin. A little redness shows the product is working effectively.

You can (and should) apply a moisturizer immediately after using this mask. However, be sure to use a basic, hydrating moisturizer instead of one with any AHA's/BHA's. I would recommend the Greek Yogurt Moisturizer from Korres, or Josie Maran's Argan Oil. Vitamin E, Aloe Vera, and probiotics are great to apply to your skin after a peel, but Vitamin A and Vitamin C should be avoided.

I hope that answers your questions!

I think it depends on what toner you use..I wouldn't use anything that has "acne fighting" or citric ingredients for sure as they tend to dry out the skin even more. If your are not sure about what ingredients are ok I would just stick to serum and moisturizer or just the moisturizer. I tried this peel without any other products after and with my full skincare routine (toner, essence/lotion, serum, moisturizer);my skin felt much better after full skincare routine and the results were better.

Does this make your face red?
Because this is a peel, I'm curious about whether or not this will make my face red. I'm an on-the-go person and was wondering if there's suppose to be any redness a day or two after using the product. A little redness is fine as long as I can cover it up with makeup.

no this is not a harsh peel like others ones you may find.all depends on your skin type but if you do have redness it goes away after you moisturize or usually a fews minutes after so no worries it won't burn your face and yes make up can easily hide any redness.

Yes this causes redness! It peeled my skin off on the sides of my chin, towards the corners of my mouth, and it took several days to heal over. I used concealer and foundation, but I was peeling so badly around my chin, I kept having to reapply makeup several times a day. Do not use if you have sensitive skin. 1 week later and I'm still red around my chin. I'm better able to conceal it now but it seems like a long time for this to heal. I also just broke out in 3 large pimples. I wonder if it's related.
