Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Colour

What it is: A luxurious medium-to-full-coverage lipstick that gives lips the ultimate in color, texture, and finish. What it does: This cream formula envelops lips in rich color with a semi-lustrous finish that lasts six to eight hours. The cushiony, lightweight texture feels comfortable, while pure olive oil and vitamin E nourish lips. Color glides evenly onto lips without skipping, dragging, feathering, or setting into fine lines. You’ll have the appearance of visibly fuller- and younger-looking lips in just one swipe. What else you need to know: This lipstick features an elegant, modern case with a metalized finish. This fragrance-free formula is dermatologist- and allergy-tested to minimize the risk of allergy and irritation.

Questions & Answers for Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Colour

Question
How drying is this product?

My lips dry out pretty easily, and I don't find this product drying. In fact, this was the lipstick that convinced me to move away from glosses. I used to use glosses (and reapply constantly) because most lipsticks dried me out. This one doesn't do that. I think it even softens my lips.

I would say not too drying but definitely not moisturizing. I would say exfoliate lips and moisturize before applying but make sure lips are not greasy at ALL because the colors are sure pigmented and will likely creep out of your lip line if they are.

I don't think it's drying at all but i always have some chapstick on first and then i finish the look with just a little lip gloss just in case so it looks moisturized.

It's not really particularly moisturizing, but then, neither is it drying. I would probably put a balm on underneath in the winter weather, but otherwise, it seems to do well on its own.

I'm 60+ ... My experience is this lipstick does not bleed or feather. I use a lip pencil for definition but this lipstick wears beautifully. My lips are dry but it's creamy enough to fell moist and look good. Shades are beautiiful. It's worth every penny!

Sephora doesn't carry the full line so you'll have to find it elsewhere, but "rosewood" is the closest. I adore baby lips and bare lips!

Hi blondieone1! We apologize for the inconvenience! It does not look like we will be getting that shade in-stock. It is ultimately up to the brand when deciding which items they would like available at Sephora. We will forward your feedback and request to Laura Mercier!

A little on cups and glasses but minimal compared to other brands. This doesn't mean I'd recommend it. It becomes dry and flakey very quickly.
