It definitly does have a scent. Slightly fruity/floral. It doesn't bug me, but if you are sensitive to scent, you will notice it.

Yes it has a scent and it is unpleasant. I can't adequately describe it other than it reminded me of a gross old lipstick you find in your drawer after years and years.
