Question
Is this foundation photo friendly?

Yes, it is photo friendly. I always test out my foundation by taking pictures, with flash to make sure. The SPF 17 isn't much, so it doesn't affect flash photography. It actually blurrs out the imperfections in your face since this is made to make you look uplifted and radiant. I love this foundation!

Yes, Shiseido is great because they have a wide range of color options. I have VERY fair skin, and am using O00 and this is perfect for me.

Question
Why dont the shades have Names on them?
Like the first person who asked, and SAID this is not in department stores, I also want to get the LIST OF SHADES..not initials and numbers as Shiseido offers here. I need to know whatever the mfr. might call tones such as porcelain, /which is often separate from lite/, plus the other lites with yellow and pink tones. In order of lite to dark. Here the so called lites to darks seem to 'start over' a few times..

Also, if you go the Shiseido website, there are names for the colors: http://www.shiseido.com/radiant-lifting-foundation-spf-17/9990000000028,en_US,pd.html

The colors come is shades of B, I or O. Beige, Yello or combination of both.
THe numbers are the depth of the colors, 10-20 is fairest, 20-30 is light, 40-60 is med. light and so forth. Color names mean different light/dark to different manufacturers, so to use numbers defines the the depth of colors. Much much better for accuracy.

Question
What color should I get
I went to sephora store to try to get a natch color, however, none fo the store carries make up line. I got a sample of I40 from my friend. It is too dark for me. What color should I get then? I prefer pink base versus yellow base. Should I go for I20 or O?

I is ivory, B is beige, O is olive. The higher the number the darker the color. If you're pinker, stick with I. Maybe I20, if you know your color in another type of foundation, you could try the color IQ, but it matched me wrong in the store, I had to use my color from a foundation I knew was a match!
I am blonde, fair with pink undertones and burn easy but do tan. I wear I20 and its perfect! Hope this helps!

"O" seems to be slightly yellow/neutral, I would probably go for one of the "I" if you are looking for something warmer.

Question
What shade do I need?
I have fair skin with neutral and sometimes faint pinkish undertones. So I usually stick with a neutral toned shade..I am pale with blue eyes..I cannot ascertain which shade to buy due to PC resolutions...I think this might be the foundation I have been searching for.

If you are in the US and near a department store, I'd try out the swatches there first before ordering on-line.

Question
find the correct color of Radiant Lifting Foundation SPF17?
I have blue eyes, brunette hair and I have fair skin. I am not sure which shade to get. We do not have a store anywhere close, so that I could try the product to match my skin tone. I burn easily, but I do tan also.
Thank You for the help!

I00 would probably be the best. I tried on I20 but it was a shade too dark for my fair skin, but the I00 is perfect.
