I personally do not like lorac pro ... the eyeshadows are pigmeneted and smooth, but they feel muddy to me and i didnt like it all. ofcourse the lorac pro palette is much more versitile than this one. you can crease tons of looks with the lorac pro but this one its kind of one or two different looks really. BUT!!! I LOVE tartes eyeshadow qualiity they always look soooo smooth simple
you get more for you money with lorac pro though
I don't know if I would directly compare them. They are both very portable. You get a bit more product with the tarte palette and a larger mirror. Further, you get a purple shade which adds a bit to more looks that only neutral. Lastly the pro palette has a bronze shade. I really love the tarte one.
Lorac Pro has numerous eyeshadow selections and a balance of shimmer and matte. Everyone raves over Lorac Pro. Tarte clay eye and check has 6 eyeshadows and 2 blushes. Eyeshadows more matte than shimmer. Some of the colors have some shimmer, however. Not quite as shimmery as Lorac, I find. Tarte case, good for travel. It's like a wallet...size of a wallet. A bit bulky. The Lorac case is long and thinner, sort of like UD palette size. Tarte perk, min to no fallout! You can achieve day or night look with Lorac. Tarte, more day wear, but I think can be versatile...it includes a deep purple. Once applied looks purple/black. In my opinion, this color creates increased intensity, that bold pop of color. Tarte's eyeshadow is pigmented, lasting and very smooth. Some of the Lorac shadows seem more chalky to me and not as good in quality, overall. The blushes in the tarte palette are strongly pigmented...use a light hand, then build to your liking. Lorac, lots of variety in color choices and looks. If you like a lot of shimmer, Lorac provides many shimmers. I personally prefer the tarte palette and the quality. You get less shades in tarte, but generous size eyeshadows.
