For the best results, we recommend the bareMinerals
Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush. Gently tap the concealer onto your skin with the brush.

You can do either one. I use my finger just because I feel like I can control where it goes better than if I use a brush and you don't waste any (some of the concealer is obviously going to stay stuck in the brush). If you do end up using a brush, use the concealer brush and dab just a little bit of the concealer onto just the tip of the brush, then gently dab it onto anything you want to conceal. Hope this helps. :)

I use the BE concealer brush.

Barely touch the concealer with the brush. Tab onto spots as needed, go back and blend.

I use on the inner corners of my eyes for darkness and the brush is perfect for it.

I initially used the standard concealer brush provided but have found I get better coverage with just my finger, plus as the amount of product is so small I know I'm not losing any to the brush.

don't use this for under your eye, it creases and your eye make up goes into it. spend extra 20 bucks and buy the YSL radiant touché. it will be the best purchase

Tan 1 would probably work! I have medium/tan/dark skin and Tan 2 is light on me, so it's a nice yellowy undereye highlight, so Tan 1 will probably work for your lighter skin tone.

I would not use this product under the eyes, i did and it sunk into my fine lines and creased. I use well-rested under the eyes and it is a perfect color corrector, easier to apply, and does not settle into my fine lines.

Question
Can this product be used alone?
It seems as people are using this concealer primarily under bare mineral make-up. I use bare minerals too, but am looking for a concealer that I can use upon wake-up for my "no make-up" mornings that will cover my dark circles, without having to add make-up on top. In short, would this work over eye/moisturizing cream and both do the job AND stay put? Any info you might have would be appreciated... : )

Yes, it definitely can be used alone. I recommend trying it on top or underneath your foundation.

Yes, I use this often by itself and it wears fine. I would suggested dusting a little bit of a powder over top to make it stay better though.

Yes, I think it would definitely work with the no makeup look.
Barely touch the concealer dab a dot each place my want it to be and next, go back and blend.

Just don't overdo - very little goes a long way.
I use it on the inner corners of my eyes and it does the trick.

It also depends if you have a yellow or pink tone to your olive skin. Me and my mom are very close to skin colors but her skin is more tinted pink and I'm more tinted yellow, that will help more on deciding.

To get a perfect match you really have to go to a Sephora store and let a consultant help you. They have amazing tools to find you the perfect tone for your skin.

Honestly, I hated this product. I have dark eye circles and this did cover them somewhat but it creased tremendously and was too creamy that it never seemed to set. I suggest you get the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. This concealer is like magic! If you have dark eye circles this will definitely keep them cover ALL day.

yes - works really well, especially if you don't want to have to use foundation, powder, etc to blend in the concealer (which I have to do with many others I've tried). I like that this works alone OR over foundation - I keep it with me at all times. It's light and silky enough to just pat on your face and blend in, but still has good coverage. (I sometimes use Laura Mercier's, but that is very goopy)

Question
Does this turn into a powder when it dries? Or?...
is it dry or drying at all? I like something that has some moisture to it, that doesn't get crepey or settle in creases or lines when you smile and then stays there. I can't use the powder foundation (original) or concealer because of that and I have relatively unlined oily/combo skin. Is it better with primer and moisturizer or alone? Does it transfer or rub off? Thanks for the help!

It's creamy to the touch and applying to your face, either with your finger or a brush, but once you blend it in, it gives a flawless finish as if it's a powder, but it's not. It's creamy, but once blended, it's not heavy feeling at all. The formula is great so I hope bareMinerals continues making it.

This is not drying at all, as others have mentioned it dries to a powder like finish but it's not dry or cakey and it looks so natural, unlike other concealers you can't even tell that you're wearing it. That said, I have only been able to use it on the patches of redness on my cheeks and acne scars; I tried using it under my eyes and it did look crepey and didn't seem to cover well. It wears amazingly and stays on all day and I haven't had any issues with it rubbing off.

Overall this is a really impressive product that covers redness and scarring beautifully, looks incredibly natural and wears really well. But if you are only planning on using this under your eyes I would consider something else.

I am tan/olive-complected. Would the Tan cool or Tan warm be best?
I am currently using the Bobby Brown dark peach, which seems to be the right color, but I am looking for an SPF concealer that lasts all day. The Bobby Brown seams to rub off very easily. Would you recommend this concealer?

If you are a Bobbi user, stick with the "warms" from Bare Minerals. They are more yellow toned and therefore more familiar to a Bobbi fan!

I use Fairly Light in the Original Foundation and the Light 2 in this concealer is perfect. Light 1 has too much pink in it. Light 2 is perfect!
