For the best results, we recommend the bareMinerals
Maximum Coverage Concealer Brush. Gently tap the concealer onto your skin with the brush.

You can do either one. I use my finger just because I feel like I can control where it goes better than if I use a brush and you don't waste any (some of the concealer is obviously going to stay stuck in the brush). If you do end up using a brush, use the concealer brush and dab just a little bit of the concealer onto just the tip of the brush, then gently dab it onto anything you want to conceal. Hope this helps. :)

I use the BE concealer brush.

Barely touch the concealer with the brush. Tab onto spots as needed, go back and blend.

I use on the inner corners of my eyes for darkness and the brush is perfect for it.

I initially used the standard concealer brush provided but have found I get better coverage with just my finger, plus as the amount of product is so small I know I'm not losing any to the brush.

Question
Can this product be used alone?
It seems as people are using this concealer primarily under bare mineral make-up. I use bare minerals too, but am looking for a concealer that I can use upon wake-up for my "no make-up" mornings that will cover my dark circles, without having to add make-up on top. In short, would this work over eye/moisturizing cream and both do the job AND stay put? Any info you might have would be appreciated... : )

Yes, it definitely can be used alone. I recommend trying it on top or underneath your foundation.

Yes, I use this often by itself and it wears fine. I would suggested dusting a little bit of a powder over top to make it stay better though.

Yes, I think it would definitely work with the no makeup look.
Barely touch the concealer dab a dot each place my want it to be and next, go back and blend.

Just don't overdo - very little goes a long way.
I use it on the inner corners of my eyes and it does the trick.

It also depends if you have a yellow or pink tone to your olive skin. Me and my mom are very close to skin colors but her skin is more tinted pink and I'm more tinted yellow, that will help more on deciding.

don't use this for under your eye, it creases and your eye make up goes into it. spend extra 20 bucks and buy the YSL radiant touché. it will be the best purchase

Tan 1 would probably work! I have medium/tan/dark skin and Tan 2 is light on me, so it's a nice yellowy undereye highlight, so Tan 1 will probably work for your lighter skin tone.

I would not use this product under the eyes, i did and it sunk into my fine lines and creased. I use well-rested under the eyes and it is a perfect color corrector, easier to apply, and does not settle into my fine lines.

I have really fair skin and acne, too (I use the 'fair' shade of foundation, which is the lightest shade it comes in). I use the lightest shade of this concealer to cover my acne, which is 'light 1'. I have the problem of foundations/concealers looking too dark on my really fair skin and this concealer is slightly too dark for me (you can barely notice though), but once you put the foundation and mineral veil over top of it, you can't even tell. Hope this helps. :)

I have really fair skin and use the Fair shade. It works well with my skin tone even though I have cool undertones, but I think it's actually pretty neutral so it would probably work for you too. The fair is not really "white" like some others can be. Go for it--you can always return it. :)

Question
Does this concealer work well with liquid foundation?
I don't use Bare Escentuals mineral foundation anymore, but I was wondering if anyone has used this concealer with a different brand liquid foundation. I want to know if it works well with liquid foundation and not just the Bare Escentuals powder.

I have found it to work well with liquid or powder foundation. When using a liquid, I have used it over and under the foundation with the same good results.

I wear golden medium as well. The color I use for my concealer is "TAN 2." Its perfect, I just dab a little under my eyes and set it with the powder and it works great!

try the medium 2, it has a little more of a "yellow" undertone to it so it may suit you well. I wear Medium Beige in the powders and the Medium 1 is the perfect shade (it has beige/pink undertones)

Question
Eye Color: Hazel, Hair Color: Darkest Brown, Skintone: Medium clear skin
I have been trying for years to find a concealer that will help with my under eye darkness. I do not have bags, but I do have some wrinkles under my eyes. I have tried many different concealers but they are either too light,or too dark. Can you suggest a concealer color that will work for me? Thank you.

this does nothing for under the eyes. this will set into your lines and your eye make up will fall into it making your eye wrinkles worse. spend an extra 20 bucks, and buy the YSL radiant touché concealer. it de-puffs, hides dark circles, brightens your eyes. overall its a miracle product. it is high end, and 42 is steep, but mine, in which i use everyday last me about 3 -5 months.

If you have pinkish warm undertones I would say get the Medium 1. I have medium skin with neutral, calm undertones and I use the medium 2 concealer with bareminerals original foundation in medium beige and it matches perfectly. It works great for undereye circles too.

This isn't really a corrector like bobbi brown's. This one is for diminishing acne scars and dark spots, her's is more for correcting dark circles to brighten the under eye area.
