It has helped my skin feel less "Ashy" even as the winter approaches. I've also noticed less break outs, but I'm not sure if that's from the showerhead or just b y chance.

Showerhead model 5-6 months or 10,000 gallons
Hand-Held model 3-4 months or 3,000 gallons
However, it is easy to simply unscrew the two halves of the Showerhead or Hand-Held handle to check the window on the filter. If it's black, it's time to change the filter.

It comes with a filter already inside of the shower head and ready to use. All you have to do it screw the shower head on and it's ready to go.

While the filter has the ability to remove iron oxide (rust), dirt and sediment, this is not the primary purpose of the filtration system. Therefore, we cannot guarantee any level of effectivity when it comes to these areas.

The filter replacement indicator is located on the filter inside the showerhead. On the black wrap, there is a rectangle cutout that allows you to see the color of the filter media inside. The filter media will turn black when it's time to change the filter.
