according to the instructions you should apply one full dropper every morning and evening onto your scalp (not your hair shaft!). i wash my hair every 3rd day in the morning, so then i put it on my towel-dry hair after i get out of the shower. every other time my hair is dry when i apply it.

apply one full dropper directly onto the scalp twice a day. not the hair shaft. i personally massage it into my scalp to stimulate bloodflow and absorption, but i think you can skip that.

I apply one dropper full to my scalp, only where I am thinning a bit. Then I rub it in. I part my hair, drop a couple drops, part it a little ways over, drop some more, etc.

It doesn't look like it contains minoxidil, otherwise they would have to list it as an ingredient.

This product is designed for hair and as far as I know hair does not have an exclusive gender, so yes, it should work for men as well. Not sure how it compares to Rogaine for Men though.

Question
How does this product work?
I've used other hair growth products and in order for them to work, ones hair falls out and the regrowth process begins. Is this how this product works? Because I have thin hair on top of my head and cant afford to lose much more.

according to the description this product works in all 3 stages of hair growth, which means you don't need to worry about your hair falling out and the product on;y working on newly forming hairs.
for newly forming hairs: helps to stimulate cell renewal and encourage keratin production. helps activate hair growth and protects the hair bulb
for hairs that are growing: helps anchor the hair follicles firmly in the scalp and promotes longer cell life and improved resistance to DHT
for grown hairs: penetrate the root of the hair follicle, help preserve new cells to reduce future hair loss and promote hair growth

I would not recommend this product. I have thin hair, and wherever the product got onto my hair, it caused it to dry stiff and sticky and was difficult to comb out (like i had applied a tacky hair gel). Unless I wanted to go around with stiff, sticky hair, I had to comb through the product which caused breakage and pulling. I don't think it's meant to regrow hair.

I am African American and I tried this stuff on my edges and it does exactly what is described; promotes stronger, denser, thicker, fuller, and more luscious looking hair. It will not make your hair grow faster. It made my edges grow back thicker and longer. I recommend keeping your hair natural or in protective style because this does contain water and will make your routes frizzy. I been using it for two months now day and night. Do not massage it into your scalp just let it sit there and absorb whatever it needs to. You may not need a dropper full because I find that sometimes if I use too much my scalp doesn't absorb it all. What I need to investigate now is how my hair reacts if I stop using it because I don't want to use this expensive stuff for the rest of my life.

Once you've filled the dropper full, I find it's best to drop all over, directly on the scalp to ensure you don't get a build up of too much product in one area. Once you've done that, use your fingertips to give yourself a nice scalp massage! You can do this both after a shower, when your hair is wet, or dry! I also find it helpful to run a comb or brush through to help spread the product around. Hope this helps!
