Yes. It comes with a very strongly sealed protective barrier.

Each one I have purchased has been safety sealed with a clear removable wrap over the cap, not under the cap... but they have never leaked during transit, hope that helps :)

It is 4.73 fl. oz. however don't let the weight be a factor in your decision to purchase. Not all fluids are the same in weight mass. Like all products you will either like it or not, however I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do ;-)
