Can this be used for everyday use?
Can this be used as a everyday cleanser?

I wouldn't recommend using this everyday unless you have a rough skin. It exfoliates really well-everyday use may irritate your skin. Would recommend using it 2-3 times a week AFTER using face cleanser.

answer 2
Nope, twice a week.

answer 3
I would not use it for everyday cleanse. Although its a mild product, it still exfoliates the skin pretty well. The product recommends twice a week use, you may be exfoliating too much with everyday use.

Hi there,

This is a gentle exfoliator and we suggest using it every other day or a few times a week depending on your skin type.

unless you have really dry flaky skin i wouldn't use it daily or for a cleanser

answer 6
Short answer: I'm not sure, I think it really depends on your skin texture/nature. The ultimate authority for me would be the directions on the back of the product. 1-2 times a week.

answer 2
Buffing cream is milder and better overall. However my favourite scrub is PTR's laser resurface one. It's amazing.
answered 1 year, 11 months ago
answer 3
The Gentle Buffing Cream is formulated for sensitive, dry skin and the Deep Cleansing Exfoliator is better for combination to oily skin types because it has a slightly more abrasive texture.

Can this help with breakouts and super oily skin?

answer 1
I'm no expert but from what I can tell using it for several months, it does help with breakouts and oily skin (I have combination skin). It is gentle enough as to not aggravate the skin yet exfoliates effectively, smoothing out your skin texture. You could always ask for a small sample from the store before committing to an entire tube!

Must cleanse first?
"Deep cleansing" is part of the name of this exfoliator, yet under the, "how to use" tab, it states to use on cleansed skin. Is this an exfoliating cleanser or just an exfoliator?

I use a cream cleanser before using this exfoliator, to make sure there isn't any leftover makeup hanging around before exfoliating.

answer 2
yes, use after cleansing. unless you really really have great skin and don't need washing. but its best after cleansing, and if you have any peeling treatments, its best to use this to finish off your cleaning routine before moisturizing.

What are the Microparticles made of?
I'm very environmentally conscious and I try to avoid any cleansers/exfoliators with "microbeads" etc. that do not decompose, and can end up in our water systems and effect sea-life. Some exfoliators, ie: Josie Maran, use nutshells to create the abrasion. I'm new to Caudalie and am learning the brand seems very environmentally aware, but I'm concerned by the term Microparticles, does anyone know what these are composed of?
