if the shade is a good match for your skintone, yes. I wear it alone or with a little powder and it evens out my rosacea. That's quite a miracle. I actually had to train myself to use less.

I use this under the Sephora collection powder foundation. The BB cream by itself will give a light to medium coverage so you can absolutely use it as a foundation. I like to use the powder on top of it to mattify my skin.

I do not believe it would apply well with a Beauty Blender. Using your finger tips is the best way I found to apply this product. It is essentially a tinted moisturizer so imagine applying moisturizer with the sponge. Might damage your blender as it may be difficult to clean it afterwards. Hope this helps.

I say if it should be versatile. Like when a product can be blended with both fingers or sponge. This product does blend and smooth out well with fingers.

When I purchased this BB I also invested in a Sephora PRO Airbrush and I feel it's easier to apply the make up and really does help provide a flawless, airbrushed look. The brush number I got is a 55 and I love it. Easy to clean too.

It actually only comes in one color. The two colored squares which makes it look like it comes in two colors are examples of the two different sizes the product comes in, not two different colors.

I have been using this BB creams for about four months, I too have acne prone and oily skin. Do far so good! I have not had any breakouts since staring this product and in fact one of my favorite things about this cream is that at the end of the day my face is not oily like it use to be. You should try it, if your still not sure get the smallest size which is under $20 and try it out yourself.

It's consistency is more like liquid make up, it's loose not that thick.

answer 2
Before pumping you need to thoroughly shake the tube. Otherwise the pigment and oils can separate and it becomes ineffective. The texture is a mix between a cream and a liquid. Its not super thick, but it's not runny.

Question
Dr.Jart BB cream texture
I received this product yesterday and tried it on.The texture and color is different from all the other BB creams I've been using. From my experience, BB creams are usually thicker than foundation, are lighter in color, and have more of a pink/gray undertone than this. But, the Dr.Jart Black Label Detox BB cream is kind of "liquid-y" like foundation and darker in color. Did I receive a bad formulation or is this color and texture normal?

Mine was exactly the same! It wasn't fleshy pink out of the tube, instead that greyish mix. That may be why the name is Black Label Detox - I do not know. What I do know is for cancelling out redness this worked. I tried to put some concealer that was pink toned on half my chin and the BB on the other - the BB cancelled redness for me like a dream.

The consistency of mine is just like most Korean bb cream, not hard creamy, but definitely won't slide around like watery liquid. Also I've never found mine to separate into oil and color like some creme foundation would. I would think the one you received is not as good quality as it should be.

Question
DOES IT WORK FOR OILY SKIN?
I realllly want to try this, but I want to know how it works on oily skin before I purchase it. I have really really oily skin, and all of my other (cheap) BB creams would just slide off or settle terribly on my skin as soon as it got oily or sweaty. Does it have good lasting power on oily skin? If anyone could answer this, I'd be eternally grateful.

I don't know about oily skin, as mine is dry, but I find it less slick than other creams and tinted moisturizers and it has been a little drying for me. I've been applying an oil, then moisturizer and then this product. I would imagine it would soak in quickly and perhaps keep you a little more matte. No way to know except to try. Go on into your local Sephora and ask for a sample!

I have a very oily t-zone, but I still LOVE this stuff. I work as a trainer for an extremely busy, large restaurant, and my job is extremely physical and high-stress. I work 8 hour+ shifts, break a sweat at work every day, spend a lot of time near heat lamps in the kitchen, have oily skin, and this BB cream STILL keeps my skin looking gorgeous.

I will admit that it doesn't stop oil production, but it does stay put.

I find this product to be just like a liquid foundation. It stays on until I wash it off at night, and yes, if you were to wear it while laying on a white pillowcase, you'd likely see a hint of color on it because it is a product with color.

I think if you were to put your head down and rub your face all over something then yes some would come off. But honestly how often would anyone be doing that? I find that after about 5 minutes of it being on this bb cream stays put. It's like lotion in that you can kind of just rub it all over your face (although I do use a sponge as a final blender) and it looks fine. It is also like foundation in that it provides coverage. I would say that like any makeup you have to initially be careful with it rubbing off but if you let it settle in for a couple minutes then it's fine.
