if the shade is a good match for your skintone, yes. I wear it alone or with a little powder and it evens out my rosacea. That's quite a miracle. I actually had to train myself to use less.

I use this under the Sephora collection powder foundation. The BB cream by itself will give a light to medium coverage so you can absolutely use it as a foundation. I like to use the powder on top of it to mattify my skin.

This product only comes in one color, which is supposed to blend in and match all skin tones. However, having used this product, I have a hard time believing that it would blend in flawlessly on anyone with skin darker than a medium tone. Ask for a sample at a Sephora store before you buy!

It actually only comes in one color. The two colored squares which makes it look like it comes in two colors are examples of the two different sizes the product comes in, not two different colors.

I do not believe it would apply well with a Beauty Blender. Using your finger tips is the best way I found to apply this product. It is essentially a tinted moisturizer so imagine applying moisturizer with the sponge. Might damage your blender as it may be difficult to clean it afterwards. Hope this helps.

I say if it should be versatile. Like when a product can be blended with both fingers or sponge. This product does blend and smooth out well with fingers.

I have combination skin that breaks out some times.I am looking for a BB cream basically to hide some post acne marks and discolorations in my skin. I used Bare Minerals before switching to this BB. After reading another post, I tried layering my Bare Minerals over the top of the BB, but it looked a bit cakey to me. That said, I think it would provide good coverage if you just used the BB on spots, and put your Bare Minerals over the top.

answer 4
I have acne prone combination skin as well. I use bare minerals mineral veil over the top of it to give me a glow, and it doesn't cake, even after a full day of wear. This is the first primer/foundation that doesn't do that to me. And it looks natural. Caudile radiance day fluid is much more expensive and is more "luminous" in my opinion, but it doesn't provide the coverage that I need for rosacea. The mineral veil makes up for this. It looks very natural, I use it for my "I'm not wearing makeup" makeup. It stands the bright natural light test in my magnified mirror.

I have combination skin that is also very sensitive. This bb cream isn't cakey at all. I've used it a week now and it feels as close to natural as possible. I use my bare minerals for additional cover-up so you definitely can combine the two.

Ever since I turned 22, my skin has been breaking out and it has been a difficult journey trying to find something that will not only cover, but also heal the acne scars and active pimples. I put this on with the Pro airbrush #55 and let it sit for a few minutes and then dust my everyday minerals powder over it and my skin looks flawless. I dont even have to put concealer on anymore!

BB creams are designed to act as a primer so you don't really need an additional primer. If you feel it is not wearing as long as you'd like it to, only then would I combine using a primer and a BB cream.

i would suggest using a primer if you are in a hot / humid climate. i forgot to bring my primer when i went to florida for a week, so i went with just the bb cream and powder, and probably half of it wore off. you might be able to get away with it in a cooler climate. the consistency of the bb cream is gel-like, btw, so it's very smooth. it covers pores too.

This can be worn under a liquid or a powder foundation with great results. I couple mine with a powder foundation and have gotten many compliments on how nice my skin looks. The BB cream acts as a primer so you should get all day wear out of the foundation.

I have used this bb under both cream and powder foundations. I find that it makes an excellent base for both. I also use a primer underneath it, but not always (sometimes I forget!). I think it really helps to smooth out the skin and helps your foundations to have better coverage. I think this would work well on its own as a primer, as my makeup always sets well on top of it.

Although a great product, get a sample before you commit. I have a light skin tone and it blends in well for me, my mother is medium/dark skin toned though and it looks chalky on her and doesn't blend as well. She has to load on bronzer to not have a pallid look. The Dior BB cream is great and comes in a better range of colors though. Good luck!

Unfortunately, I do not think this BB cream will work for a woman of color. I am a Euro-Asian mix so I have tan, golden skin, and it's far too light even for me! It blends fairly well so I am usually able to get away with it, but skin tones darker than mine might look odd with this product. I suppose it depends on just how dark your complexion is. I wish they would make this product in more shades so women with darker complexions could wear it.

I'm hispanic and have medium toned skin (combination) and I felt that it blended much better with my skin tone in the winter and spring when my skin color is lighter rather than in the summer. Once I spent more time outside, I did notice that my face looked a bit lighter than the rest of my body. You would have to try it for yourself to see how you feel about it.
