if the shade is a good match for your skintone, yes. I wear it alone or with a little powder and it evens out my rosacea. That's quite a miracle. I actually had to train myself to use less.

I use this under the Sephora collection powder foundation. The BB cream by itself will give a light to medium coverage so you can absolutely use it as a foundation. I like to use the powder on top of it to mattify my skin.

This product only comes in one color, which is supposed to blend in and match all skin tones. However, having used this product, I have a hard time believing that it would blend in flawlessly on anyone with skin darker than a medium tone. Ask for a sample at a Sephora store before you buy!

It actually only comes in one color. The two colored squares which makes it look like it comes in two colors are examples of the two different sizes the product comes in, not two different colors.

I do not believe it would apply well with a Beauty Blender. Using your finger tips is the best way I found to apply this product. It is essentially a tinted moisturizer so imagine applying moisturizer with the sponge. Might damage your blender as it may be difficult to clean it afterwards. Hope this helps.

I say if it should be versatile. Like when a product can be blended with both fingers or sponge. This product does blend and smooth out well with fingers.

I am olive/medium skin with yellow undertones and this makes my foundation look way off when i put it over this. When it comes out the bottle it has sort of a "clayish" or grayish color and when i put it on my face it still stays that way. I actually really loved the quality and texture of it and it made my skin feel amazing but I cannot deal with the color. Maybe this would work for someone without yellow undertones or maybe someone with a lighter complexion but otherwise it created a grayish cast on my face. Would love it if they made this in different colors.

Some BB creams are suppose to match every skin tone. I am light with yellowish undertones and it works very well with me. It comes out gray, but after you apply, it's suppose to match whatever skin tone you are. No idea why, but it just works that way. Look up more on bb creams online and most that only come in one shade will say the same thing.

The color is definitely light so it will probably work for you in the winter I don't know if it will fit your undertones that are yellow its more neutral for undertones but it is light since bb creams are targeted at lighter skin tones most bb creams are light if they don't have color options

Hi there, I read your question regarding this product (that Im anxiously awaiting it's availability), unfortunately I cannot answer your color question, however, you may want to post this question on BeautyTalk. I'm not sure if you're familiar with it, but that's where I post all my questions, comments etc. And usually receive an answer fairly quickly. If you're not famaliar with BT, it's under the Advice tab, and tons of boards to post questions to..... I'm very active within BT because I live an hour and a half to the nearest store. I hope this helps :-)

BB creams are designed to act as a primer so you don't really need an additional primer. If you feel it is not wearing as long as you'd like it to, only then would I combine using a primer and a BB cream.

i would suggest using a primer if you are in a hot / humid climate. i forgot to bring my primer when i went to florida for a week, so i went with just the bb cream and powder, and probably half of it wore off. you might be able to get away with it in a cooler climate. the consistency of the bb cream is gel-like, btw, so it's very smooth. it covers pores too.

I use both the Water Fuse Beauty Balm SPF 25 PA++: and the Black Label in this same brand. The Black Label is more matte and I use it during months that my skin tends to be more oily and the Water Fuse during winter months when I have drier skin. The stores carry 10-15 different BB creams and I have found the associates to be super helpful in steering you to the correct one to try. I started using this product on the advise of an associate at a store and have not used anything else for 2+ years.

When I researched the differences before purchasing, I've found that the Black Label Detox is more for oily/acne prone skin (hence it's good for clearing up blemishes, which I can verfiy), whereas the Premium is better for anti-aging. I wish they made one with each characteristics!

Difference between the Black Label and the Premium BB cream is the color. It seems Black Label is slightly lighter and make your skintone whiter. For protection and nourishment of the skin, I don't see any differnce between two. I like the pump for Black Label, therefore, I bought this one. Otherwise, either one works same.

I had the same question and talked to a Sephora rep. I'm 27 and she recommended Black label for me because it's more about coverage and protection, while suggesting the Premium was better suited for my mom (age 57) because of the anti aging qualities.

If her adivce holds true you should try the Premium BB.

Hi! I had a more general question concerning BB cream, which is... do i need to put on primer first before BB cream? I heard it's better to use primers because it generates a 'shield' to bad materials in cosmetics ... is that true?

Keep in mind that BB creams are not foundations, which is what primers are for. Foundations tend to be more mask-like, with fewer active skincare benefits. Bb Creams are a multi-purpose product that offers light coverage and evened skin tone, along with moisture, SPF, and anti-aging features.

Using a primer with a BB cream would create a barrier between your skin and the cream's beneficial properties. So no, I don't recommend it. In fact, it would be more suitable to use a BB cream as a primer itself for a heavy foundation. It would treat, hydrate, and protect while prepping the skin for another product. Just use sparingly and let it absorb first!

I feel that if you put primer on this, it would defeat a lot of the purpose of this BB Cream. It acts not only as a sunblock but moisturizer and skin care product and foundation.

You could use a primer, as I do put on a moisturizer below my BB cream as well, and have NOT had any adverse affects (no breakout, no greasy feeling). It dries matte with a little bit of a healthy sheen. I think you'll like it! :)
