Question
how to use brow wax
I have never used brow wax. Do you use it first before the powder or after?

If you use it first the color will usually come out darker when applying. It is best to use it after to shape and hold the brow from strays- It also sets the color to make it last longer.

I dip a brush into the wax then the powder, it helps it stick and stay exactly where you put it. Also helps it look a lot more natural than a brow pencil does.

answer 4
before! then run the spoolie through to shape them and then go over with the powder. note; make sure to bring the wax a bit farther down if you add a bit more of a tail to your eyebrows, it makes them stick whereas if you put it on after it would just wipe everything off.
enjoy your peeeerrfect eyebrows :)

I use the wax first and the powder after. That seems to cut down on the powder dropping down onto my eyes, because it sticks to the wax.

Yes, you sweep it across brows prior to the color. The brow wax will tame the brows and helps to maintain the color.

Which Color Should I choose?
I have very fair skin and my hair color is dark ash blonde / light ash brown. In the photos the lightest one looks really light but I don't know if the middle color will be too dark. Please advise.

I'm definately a brunette and the honey blonde looks good on me, so I doubt you should go any darker than that.

Question
what color brow powder should I get? I have reddish brown hair, green eyes and fair skin. My hair is straight.
My brows are brownish-black and pretty sparse. Is powder the best makeup to buy for my brows? Again: Reddish brown hair, straight, green eyes, fair skin tone. I am confused about the whole issue.

I think this product assumes you have hair consistently throughout your brow, and the powder sticks to the hairs, but I've heard conflicting reports on this. You may want to look into something else, like a pencil or DipBrow. If you have a Sephora store nearby, their staff seem to enjoy helping people pick out the right product to solve a specific issue. Personally, I have my brow hair, but it went blonde/grey, so I just need color to bring it back in and this worked well for that.

I'm 48 and my brows have definitely thinned, so I use my Bobbi Brown angled brow brush to apply this powder and end up with a very natural looking, more defined arch and brow. A little powder goes a long way, I apply it with short strokes.
