Fresh Seaberry Exfoliating Soap

What it is:A triple-milled soap that gently buffs away dry, dull skin while cleansing the body to reveal a smooth complexion. What it is formulated to do:Seaberry Exfoliating Soap gently buffs away dry, dull skin while cleansing the body to even skintone and reveal a radiant glow. The nourishing formula is fortified with seaberry oil, a powerful antioxidant rich in omegas that restores and softens the skin. Natural exfoliants of cranberry, bamboo, and bitter orange help diminish dehydrated skin, while shea butter nourishes and hydrates. Triple-milled to last longer, it produces a rich, non-drying lather for a luxurious cleansing experience. What else you need to know: The story of seaberry: “When I was two, living in a small town in East Siberia, I tipped over a pot of boiling water and burned my arm. The doctor treated me with a pasty orange salve that I later learned was seaberry oil. Native to Siberia, this restorative oil has been used for generations as a natural cure.”—Lev Glazman, Fresh Co-founder

in my opinion this product has a very earthy smell to it. It reminds me of a forest or heavily wooded area at the beginning of summer. Hope this helps.

It's not a strong smell. Tough to describe, but it's not like Fresh's other soaps that are fragrant.

Hesperides is my other favorite. You will probably like the scent of this one too. It is hard to explain... very light, slightly sweet, but not too sweet.

The soap comes in a box. There isn't any plastic on the soap or around the box. The box is nothing special it's like any other soap box that you'd buy. However, the product is amazing and definitely worth the try.

The bar came in a paper/cardboard box. There may or may not have been a paper inside with product description.

I would recommend using this soap on your face. I believe that granules in the soap would heavily irritate the skin. If you are looking for a face soap that exfoliate I would advise looking for a liquid soap that exfoliates and not a bar of soap.

I found it is great for the face because it lathers well and rinses off easily without drying your skin too much
It does seem to do well for sensitive skin as I do have that
So I do sometimes just wash my face with this instead of more expensive cleansers

you should not use this soap on your face - it's for the body. The cleanser is what you would use daily and the soy exfoliator would be what you use to exfoliate 1-2x a week.

Question
What are the granules made of?
I read the ingredients but I was wondering if the granules are made of plastic. I try to avoid these since fishes end up eating them in the ocean and die. I assume the granules are made of bamboo and orange but I'd like a confirmation on this. Thanks
